If you can't get the swing's manufacturer to sell you additional chain, you can do what I did: Just go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy chain of a similar size and strength rating. The chain I bought was not gold-colored, but it was zinc coated and should be rust free for a long time. You will also need to buy adjustable links to attach the additional chain to the swing's chain. Home Depot and Lowe's have those, too. |

| Answer: | I made 5 gallons of homemade root beer with this small bottle. The recipe I used called for 5 gallons of water, 4 pounds of sugar, 2 oz of root beer extract and 7 pounds of dry ice. I guess the amount of the extract you are using would be dependent on the amount you are making with your soda stream and same with the sugar. For a quart if my math is good you would need just shy of a half of cup (.45 cup) of sugar and using a child's medicine dropper, 3ml of the root beer extract. Try that and then correct to your taste. Hopefully this will work out for you. |

| Answer: | If you talking about the head screws that secure the pole to the arms, then no we did not pre-drill the holes in the arms. We used a screw gun. We pre-drilled the holes in the top where it holds the chain to the porch ceiling. Chain does not come with it. We bought a 1900lb chain with 3/8 inch Lag bolts that have a loop on them and an S at the top (by porch) and an S at the bottom where chain and seat meet. |

If you got chains with 300 weight capacity each also, then you're probably okay for 600 pounds. The swing itself could hold a horse but your failure points are going to be chains, hooks, and where the hooks are anchored into the ceiling. Always load the swing UNDER what you think its capacity is. |

Made in the USA, our Western Red Cedar 5’ Porch Swing seats two comfortably, measuring approx. 23" high x 62" wide x 27" deep. The seat surface is approx. 18" deep x 58" wide. This traditional natural wood swing comes with comfortable contoured seating, chain and springs. All the swing needs is a view. Our lawn and garden furniture is shipped partially assembled, with easy to follow instructions. All of our patio furniture products are made from natural tight knotty Western Red Cedar with non-staining hardware. Cedar is lightweight, dimensionally stable, and naturally resistant to splitting, cupping, and warping. Western Red Cedar gives our patio furniture natural strength, beauty & natural resistance to the elements. Weight capacity is 550 lbs. Are you thinking that your porch may not be right for a swing? Please take a look at our compact self-contained cedar gliders. We also offer a 4' version of our swing, and stained cedar swings as well. Each piece is ready for staining, clear finish or simply leave natural. An oil or clear finish with UV light protection will bring out the beauty of the grain and a bit of red tinges in the wood. If the cedar is left natural, it will weather to an unpretentious gray. very traditional rustic look can be done with polyurethane with UV light protection. Clear finishes will slightly darken the wood while bringing out the red tinges found in the grain. Stains are easy to apply, can come in almost any color and do look great. Stains don't chip or peel as can happen with paint. You should apply a finish that will waterproof the wood, and prevent water spots & stains from ruining the look of the wood. Please consult your local paint expert. Some additional sanding may be required, depending on your tastes and the finish that you wish to apply. We ship by UPS ground only within the Continental US – we don’t ship to Alaska, Hawaii nor outside the United States. Shipping is added to all furniture orders.
