It closes rather tightly, seems to be water proof, and can be locked, so I see no reason you could not use it for pool chemical storage unless there are regulations I am not aware of. It is sturdy, weather tight, for the most part. That is all I can tell you.

Answer:	I also noted that the description includes the phrase dry and ventilated. Other than the fact that the box simply 'snaps' together and the lid simply lays on the top rim when closed, it appears that it may not create an airtight seal. But other than that I don't see any provided vents or features that would provide any more ventilation than that noted above. It does however, appear to be able to keep rain out as we just had a storm of 1.75 inches of rain and the cushions in the box remained dry.

Answer:	I would highly dought it is mouse proof and yes items will get chewed and has nothing to do with food ! I suggest putting mouse traps or deacon in the box itself. I’m an exterminator by trade and see damage all the time .My one pop up camper canvas got destroyed by mice and we didn’t have one drop of food on there ! Mice and rodents have a biological need to chew that keeps their incisors from growing too long .Nothing to do with food.

I do not however keep anything in there that they want (pool toys, floats etc.) The top is most likely too heavy for them to lift and the plastic is thick enough that they won't chew through (they eat through our garbage cans). There is also a spot for a lock and I am sure this would keep them out for sure. I do have the Suncast decorative garbage holder and they have not gotten into there.

Answer:	No, it doesn't come prebuilt. Not terribly difficult to put together, but be aware that if you haven't put one of Ugears kits together, it does take a little time and patience. If you have large hands, however, a few steps where you have to measure, cut, knot and place lengths of rubber bands on certain parts of the main box will be difficult.

Question:	Does the liner inside the storage cover the open bottom, Or does it only protect the top
Answer:	If you like your wood to turn gray and look weathered then you don't have to treat it. We really liked the finish when our bench came so we did treat it so it would look like new for a long time.
Question:	Are cushions available for this item
Answer:	It actually came with a cover. I have not used it. It is black fabric. I do not know if it is water proof or anything. I put it aside. Since it is not a clumsy large size bench, and it is so beautiful, you can probably move it inside in winter weather if you have a bit space inside. Otherwise, I am sure any patio love seat cover will do due to its size.
Question:	Can 2 normal size adults sit comfortably, or they have to be super skinny
Answer:	You will need to assemble. Doable by one person if you are able to lean it against a wall, two person makes it real easy. Be careful if with the long screws. Do not use power drill, just hand tighten. It took me one person to assemble in 25 minutes.
Question:	x 24.4 x 10.2 inches....what part of this is
Answer:	It is a very strong and sturdy bench/love seat. We have two adults totaling 350 pounds sitting on it comfortably. I just got it a couple of months ago. I suppose I will think of some protection. I have it under covered patio, and the weather here is not harsh. If you have it exposed and you have harsh weather, certainly it will be good to treat it once a year I imagine.

Question:	How many chlorine jugs can i fit inside
Answer:	I would say about four or five. It may look small, but the bench holds a lot. I have most of my pool equipment in it! It is worth the buy!
Question:	What size seat cushion should i buy to fit this? Will 51in cushion work
Answer:	I just measured the seating area and 51 would work if width is 17" or smaller . The seating part the lifts up is 49" x 18" if that helps.
Question:	Is it waterproof
Answer:	It is waterproof when the bench is closed. If there is standing water on the bench seat it runs inside when you open the top and if there is enough water it will spill inside the bench.
Question:	What is the seat height of the bench

Question:	Would it melt if it was a reasonable distance from a normal size fire pit
Answer:	I don't have a fire pit, but I doubt it would melt if people sitting at the same distance were not uncomfortable.
Question:	can you put a lock on it
Answer:	instructions says you can put a lock and shows where it goes, but there is No hole for a lock. you need to drill your own hole to use a lock. easy to do. I took me 2 min. w/ a 5/8 drill. Wife keeps her gardening tools in them.
Question:	Can you please share what outdoor cushions fit this bench and can you find 2 matching chair cushions
Answer:	I must be honest, I NEVER even though about putting a cushion on this bench. I have it right by our pool, and we use it to store noodles, floats, and tubes. I do have a few pillows that I throw on it, but they usually end up on the ground anyway. In addition, there is nothing to tie or secure the cushion to, so it could be challenging to keep the cushions on the bench. The seat itself is only 45" wide by 16-7/8" deep, so you'd have to see if you could find something that would fit. You could possibly tie the cushions to the bench hinge, but that may alter the seal itself and my not sit right. Please post if you have any luck. :)
Question:	Can bugs get inside
Answer:	Not really, if you assemble it carefully, but some moisture will get inside if this item isn't under cover and the rain blows really hard. I store outdoor toys in this bench so I put them inside large black plastic bags & tie them. The toys, such as badminton sets and horseshoe sets never get wet but sometimes I find water on the bags. I live in south Louisiana and we get long, hard rain storms. When we have a sunny day, I open the bench and let the water on the bags dry up.
