Answer:	The "white" is more of a very light tan color (e.g., coffee with a good amount of creamer), and yes, the bottom is a cholcolate brown.
Question:	Are these machine washable? I need to cover my furniture from the immense load of pollen that falls in Georgia during Spring
Answer:	I suppose so, but just hosing them off is good enough . I live in Portland Oregon, backing up to a greenbelt full of Big Leave Maples that, IMHO, are the messiest trees on the planet when it comes to pollen. Every April we get covered in yellow pollen that gets into everything, even our black lab looks like a yellow lab for a week or so :-). I've found that nothing more than a good old fashion garden hose does the trick .
Question:	Are these mold and mildew resistant
Answer:	As far as I can tell, I have had them for a year outside and in a shed and had not seen any mold of mildew evidence.
