More then likely over the size the airport would like you to have. They are nice though. I'm almost 400 LBS and I can lean back on them with no hassles besides getting to the ground but I blame myself and Iraq for that. I got these because lower chairs like beach chairs had max weight limits that were way too low. Maybe you can mail it to your vacation spot and mail it back..... Seems like a strange way to go but it should work....Sorry if this doesn't help

Answer:	We recommend 30 ft on each side of heavy recoil bungee strapping. Ensure the hammock is mounted high on the two trees (minimum 8 feet at lowest point of loaded arc) for minimum throw distance, higher the better.

Answer:	From strap end to strap end is 11' 6". From fabric end to fabric end is 10'. I strongly recommend this hammok! It fits two people perfectly with extra room. Also great for a one person "cocoon"! Its very soft fabric, yet strong and durable. The straps and carabeaners are good quality. I would buy this product again and recommend it to anyone.
