Answer:	This is the first time I replaced this canopy and had a hard time doing it without instructions. The seams are not reinforced but sturdy. When replacing it do so on a smooth surface and be very careful.

The fabric in the one we received was nothing like the course fabric in the original... this one was synthetic material that sagged about7-8 inches every time we had a good rain (two places... on both sides of the center bar). I went out and bought ($75) a sheet of 36"x72" laminated plastic (the largest I could find) and inserted it under the canopy so it would continue to show two "bulging bellies" of rainwater. If I had it to do over, I probably would have just bought a new swing. I'm not at all impressed with this replacement product. Hope this helps!
