Answer:	It does not come with a propane tank. The ideal size is 14 oz to 1 lb propane cylinders that can be purchased at most Hardware stores.

Answer:	The tool or the fuel? If you take care of it it should last a long time. Hardly any moving parts. As far as gas, that depends on your usage. It’s pretty efficient on fuel use from my opinion. Just be sure to take the fuel canister off when storing it.

Answer:	How long ago did you purchase your Red Dragon? You can contact the company directly with the address on the enclosed website or your original seller may be able to help you. My first unit ordered was defective-but the second unit worked perfectly! I also realized that Home Depot or Lowes was selling it also. Good luck! I have two different units and I really enjoy both of them!! Best wishes.
Question:	Why not use a battery powered weed whipper, that recharges for years and actually cuts the weeds off so you can remove them
Answer:	Kills more of the root rather than just cutting which will re grow. I've got gravel areas as well which can get flung around by weed whackers. Both tools have their uses.

Answer:	The nozzle is 3 inches wide. I just measured it. Mine is great.
Question:	How loud is the item
Answer:	I would say it is about half as loud as a small torpedo heater. I generally have a safety headset/radio on when I use it. BE CAREFUL how close you get to items that can burn or melt. I had my Loop-Lock pool cove folded up about 5 feet away from some weeds I was "cooking." It wasn't until a month later I discovered I melted four panels! Close to $500.00 to fix!
Question:	How long would a patio grill tank last with this full on
Answer:	Probably only about 2 hours or so. Full on is extreme heat and a ton of flame. At 500,000 BTUs it is, at maximum output, 10 times more than your average grill on high.
Question:	Is the handle long enough that you can stand straight up to use this on patio weeds, or do you end up having to bend over slightly? I have a bad back
Answer:	The entire metal part is 36" long. My husband is 6' 3" and I do not believe that he has to bend over. I am about 5' 8" and have no trouble at all with it. Hope this helps

How Do I Properly Start My Torch Kit?

Starting with everything off and closed (Propane tank and needle valve) slowly crack the knob of your propane tank about ¼ to ½ of a turn. This will provide plenty of propane flow, depending on the level of propane in your tank, to provide a large usable flame. Next, you need to wait about 5-10 seconds for the propane to fill the hose. You will then slowly crack your adjusting needle valve about ½ a turn, and then proceed to light the torch. Following this procedure (also listed in your torch kit's instruction booklet) will prevent the safety valve from engaging and prohibiting your use. If you find that you have turned your kit on too quickly, shut everything off and give the P.O.L. safety feature time to reset (about 1 minute). Hint: Neither the tank valve nor the needle valve on the torch needs to be opened all the way to get a usable flame.

Answer:	Yes, the Red Dragon will melt snow. I would not use it to clear a driveway. Maybe a small sidewalk or to get rid of ice on steps. Be careful melting snow during sustained temperatures below freezing as the melted snow will just turn to ice later.

Answer:	This Weed Torches has a maximum of 500,000 BTU. Yes, it is recommended that you go outside and pile a few bricks together, and then make a mini forging table. Put the metal into the forging table, pick up the Weed Torches and adjust the temperature. It is absolutely hot enough to temper the steel. If there is no forging, you can easily use it to anneal the blade.
Question:	To avoid propane leakage Is it better to leave a partially used, cylinder connected to the torch or unscrew it from the torch
Answer:	The hose is 6.5 feet long. Fitted with a 7/8"-14 TPI, left hand male propane bottle connection with a steel tip diameter of 2 3/8".

Answer:	I wouldn't refer to it as a 'pilot'...you turn the gas tank on...you turn the Mag-Torch wand on to the level you feel comfortable (low is good!)...you flick the 'igniter' @ the end of the wand & when it ignites, you can adjust the torch up or down according to your needs...keep in mind that at FULL output it's 500,000 BTU's!!!
Question:	with only one strap, does the tank stay secure if you are on somewhat uneven grounds

Answer:	The large QCC1 fitting on most 20lb tanks has a big coarse male thread for a barbecue QD hose. But inside that fitting is female threaded opening that you can connect the supplied hose to. Had the same problem.
Question:	Is this a dolly only or does it come with the torch attachment
Answer:	Yes, a 20lb tank works great. I use it to start the fire in my wood fired pizza oven.

Answer:	I have a cat, I think any added fabric will attract pet hair but I do find it easy to remove using the vacuum. This cover is a winner for me because of the ease of putting it on and the material.

Answer:	Looks like there are mixed responses to the blue color question. That’s because there is one called “blue” and it is actually teal. There is one called “dark blue” and it is actually navy. These covers are fantastic for wash and wear. I have 2 and will order another.

Answer:	Just measured it, 2 inches exactly
Question:	Can the gas pressure be controled away from the tank end (near nozzle) and does it go up to 40 psi
Answer:	Yes, the amount of pressure can be controlled by the handle (away from the propane tank). I'm not sure of the psi, but it seems to allow a good amount of propane to flow through.
Question:	How long did the weeds stay down
Answer:	There's a seed bank in the soil that will germinate when exposed (which is why tilling can initiate a flush of weeds). With multiple treatments the seed bank will be exhausted, so whether they "come back" depends on your specific situation, but eventually it should be less and less.
Question:	Can this be used to set fire to someone’s place of work/office? Asking for a friend
Answer:	Yes it would work... But don't forget to pour lots of high grade gasoline on everything first...I learned this in the last few places I burned down with a propane torch... By the way it also works well to light your cigarettes on those windy arson days if you're a smoker like me ...Heck I even smoke em in the shower...
