Answer: When replacing the line, use only 0.065 inch (1.65mm) diameter round line. Other diameters or shapes may degrade performance or cause damage to the trimmer. Unplug trimmer. Remove the empty spool from the trimmer. Remove any remaining cutting line from the spool. Make a fold at the end of the cutting line at about 3/4 inch (19mm). Feed the cutting line into one of the line anchoring slots. Insert the 3/4 inch (19mm) end of the bulk line into the hole in the spool adjacent to the slot. Make sure the line is pulled tight against the spool. Wind the cutting line onto the spool in the direction of the arrow on the spool. Make sure to wind the line on neatly and in layers. Answer: That is accurate. Higher Amp hours the more capacity of the battery. With the 3 Ah you get one battery. With the 1.5 Ah you get two batteries. Should equal out to the same amount of run time. Only difference is the 3.0 Ah battery is physically larger and heavier than the 1.5. So if you have a bad shoulder or older you might opt for the two 1.5 batteries and just swap them when the first goes dead. If you're not having issues with the weight, go with the 3ah single battery.
Question: anyone have experience with the 3.0 vs the 1.5Ah batteries? does the 3.0 literally last twice as long? trying to figure out best deal
Answer: Yes, theoretically a battery with double the amp/hour capacity CAN last twice as long with a whole bucketload of IFS! IF the ‘Speed’ adjustment is EXACTLY the same; IF the thickness of the weeds/grass is exactly the same; IF the ‘duty cycle (on time vs off time) is exactly the same, etc, etc. From a practical standpoint suffice to say that battery life between charges WILL be noticeably longer BUT, when using the same charger, recharge time MAY also be noticeably longer. Im sure that, by now, you’ve noticed all the “IFS and “MAYS” in my short reply. This only goes to illustrate the very large number of variables involved in reliably estimating battery time between charges.

Answer: I am not sure as I haven't had to use it yet. But often, these tools are used for adjustments or to R&R the head(the part that spins). I have tools so I didn't pay the part too much attention. As to the trimmer itself, it needed be run at half choke for a few outings. It is just now becoming broken-in and the performance is very much improved(oh, probably about 4-5 hours altogether). I don't baby these things and I have a lot of acreage. Keeping in mind the size of this one(128cc), I am, overall, pleased with its performance so far. Good fuel economy too(for a line trimmer). The Titanium string is great. One criticism though and one that should be addressed in the design: The starting pull is placed so close to some vent openings that if you're not aware of the potential and/or not paying attention, when you pull to start you can easily catch the tip of a finger or nail under the lip... and then, Boy Howdy! I bled a couple of times before I figured out what was happening. A better location anyway would be in front - closer to the shaft---much better balance when starting. Answer: Also, the 1.5 amp weighs about half the other, so it is balanced. The 3.0 would make it top heavy.

Answer: My 20V battery powered machine completes my entire yard. My yard is small, but I would say it takes me about 20 minutes to trim and it handles that just fine without issues. The machine is kept charging at all times when not in use.

Answer: Mine came with 1 charger and 2 / 20 DC volt batteries. Shop around and look for the best deals. After I bought mine I saw I could have gotten it for half what I paid and the newer ones come with a 40 DC volt battery.

Answer: It's also not a trimmer (if you were meaning the hedge trimmer shown in the video). That's a different product. This one is just the weed whacker/edger.
