I learned that it is easier to buy the spools with the trimmer line installed because it is so time consuming to do it myself and when I am really going good, the self-wound spool won't allow the line to come out and I have to stop and take the whole thing apart and redo the line on the spool. The "bought spool" does not have this problem; the trimmer line just comes off the spool so nicely. It costs more to buy the spools with the trimmer line already on the spool but it so well worth the money not to have to keep stopping and redoing it over and over and over. Hope this helps you. |
