Answer:	I don’t have pine needles or pine cones but I do have ornamental crabapple trees in my yard which drop marble size crabapples and this sweeps them up easily. You can adjust the sweeper and at its lowest level it will sweep up all the gravel too. So I am certain it will do fine with pine needles and pine cones. I love this sweeper and it makes cleaning up leaves and large & small sticks after high winds a breeze. My mower is 54” so I purchased the 52” sweeper. I hope this helps.

Question:	Is this for the 44 sweeper
Answer:	It is but this one is for the later model I found out. I ended up having to contact Agri-Fab directly to find the correct version for my sweeper. If you look up the two versions on google you can easily tell which model you have but this particular item was for the older of the two. Good luck!
