Question: What is the Difference from Stihl ms290 and ms
Answer: I can't say as far as blade comparability, I would say that as far as durability, strength and price, this is one of the best, second only to the silky brand saws. Which, as far as I know the silkys cut better, but are known for blade breakage and bending. The wicked saws blade is very strong and cuts well. Overall it is surprisingly light, and compact. The blade seems to have some sort of coating that prevents rust, compared to other carbon steel tools (my knives and tomahawks rust easily, this one has not yet)

Answer: I found it difficult at first because it is new I guess but you are suppose to put one foot on the top of the trimmer and pull or push up or down on the handle. It gets easier with use. I was afraid I might break it at first but do not fear. It makes a clicking sound as it moves. I have an old worx and it was much easier to change the position of the head. Hope this helps
