Answer:	Not certain but I believe it has to do with the spacing of the teeth on the wheel at the end of the bar. I have two 14-inch bars for my chainsaw, one that fits s49 and the other s52. Always better to have a choice you know.

Answer:	Not during "normal" operation. The internal body is metal, part aluminum, part stainless steel. Under the cap is a silicone seal. The filter basket is stainless steel, and the filter cup is aluminum. The carafe is "pyrex" glass, but the lid is plastic. So, the only time hot "liquid" comes in contact with plastic, is when you pour the coffee from the carafe, and not lift the lid... just like any other coffee carafe. The filter cup is high enough off the base, where I can take my coffee mug, and insert it under the port, and have the machine expel espresso straight into the mug... that way, NO hot liquid touches any plastic... Hope this helps... ;-)

You can always get refils at Amazon or art stores of your choice. Experiment that is what I do
