That being said, you'll get the job done and I am not sure any pressure washer will make a job like that really quick, just much easier than hand scrubbing. |

Hence the switch back to the stronger rubber hose. |

| Answer: | Yes, but only if the extension cord has a large enough wire size (AWG American Wire Gage Smaller number is better. Ex: AWG12 is better than AWG18) to handle the voltage drop that you get in long wire. Not all extension cords are created equal and cheap bargain ones WILL have problems because the manufacturers save money by using cheaper/thinner wire and it causes overheating of the pressure washer pump motor. Length is what matters too though, a 20 foot 16 gage might work but not a 100 foot 16 gage: longer distance the more wire size will have to increase. | Answer: | You can unwind as much hose as you need, but the hose is stiff and rather uncooperative. Unwind it before you hook up the wand so it can uncoil easily and it works fine. Unhook the wand and stretch the hose out straight before winding it back up. |
