Answer:	This fan has a EC motor, which is a subtype of DC motors. Key difference is that it doesn't require a DC adapter since the conversion of electricity current happens inside the fan instead of DC adapter. The fan is controlled using Potentiometer technology and it yields exactly the same results as PWM.

Pet hair will be getting stuck inside the unit and getting wrapped around the impeller and fan's rotor, which can potentially increase chances of overheating and malfunction. If you still decide to us it for this application you need to ensure that there is a filter placed before the fan which will catch all of the hair before it reaches fan's parts. Answer:	Absolutely! This little fan pulls some serious air. I was surprised how well it performs, the engineering is first class. It's made in Italy, made to work in all weathers. The bearings and general build quality is spot on. I have one on my Kawasaki KLX450R enduro bike. It easily pulls the temp back from 95c to 88c in about 2-3 minutes. This bike is not fitted with a fan from the factory. In slow going it heats up real quick. But with the SPAL fan, overheating is a thing of the past. I'd recommend you'd need at least two of them on your car though. Maybe more if theres room. They lend themselves to dual fan setups, as they are so compact. Good luckPeter

Answer:	No it doesn't have a temp switch. You may have connected to a automatic breaker for power that is tripping because of additional load.

Answer:	I could not find a part number on the Instruction sheet inside the fan in regards to obtaining the suction cup base separately from the fan. You might want to check with the Manufacturer Caframo and see if they offer it separately. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The disc is useless, it was originally released in 2009, the game is now on version 9.5 and you will need to download the latest version in order to play the game. The only reason to buy the disc is the get any of the free giveaways from the original release. This will be the answer for any game, usually the disc is outdated within a month of release..... Sorry you will need to do the download ... But after that the weekly updates are usually fast....
