Answer:	My yard is parts heavy shade and direct sun. St. Aug grass grows well in sun. This mower does it good. Take your time. Dont let it get too long.

Answer:	I chose this design handle over the "T" shape b/c I'm pretty sure this allows less force for turning, etc. The handle itself has been very strong and stable over past year or so. I love it and so glad I got away from the gas mower, tho I still use a gas trimmer. One thing I do with this for a difficult weed, you can angle up on one wheel as you give a little push -- allowing the blades to catch the pesky resistant weed...This shape handle, plus the quality construction have allowed me to do that very effectively with little effort. I will note that the foam cover on handle is crumbling...but who cares, I wear gloves!

Answer:	Your mower may have arrived in a box with the handle already folded down somewhat. Just loosen those same bolts and fold the handle down. If you bought the mower with the handle already in place, just loosen the 2 bolts 2/3 the way down the handle (toward the mower) on each side and fold the handle. It may require taking out one bolt from each side.

Answer:	yes, the blades can be sharpened. you can buy a blade sharpening kit for reel mowers at most hardware stores

Answer:	Very easy. It's almost too easy to push, and I find myself having to slow myself down. It does a great job!

Answer:	I wouldn't describe it as adjustable, but there is some flexibility in how it is held. I'm five-two, and use it just fine, if that helps.
Question:	How do you sharpen the blades and how often should you sharpen
Answer:	Most of your home improvement stores will carry a reel mower sharpening kit that has a gritty paste, application brush, reel crank, and directions for about $15. The gist of it is you put the paste on the edges of the reel blades and the bed blade and use the crank to spin the reel for a bit (you can also use a drill with an attachment, much easier and faster). You may also have to adjust the bed blade. The whole process depends on your mechanical skills really, it can take anywhere from 20 mins to 1 hour. What ever you do please don't use a grinder or file as that will potentially ruin your mower by removing too much metal. When to sharpen depends on a lot of variables such as how often you mow, the type of grass or weeds you have etc. The best way to tell is if you consistently have rogue grass blades sticking up or patches of uneven grass where you mowed. I would expect most people would sharpen their reel mowers about twice a year.

Answer:	I got because of worry over steep frontage. Deck is very light weight, but sturdy. It works perfect for me where too steep for riding mower. Comes with extra battery and 1 did frontage (260' x 10') easily. Recharges in 4 hrs. I got extra spools of line, but haven't needed to switch as yet.

Answer:	Jason, I love your answer. But so glad mine all arrived happy. Good to know replacements are so inexpensive on eBay 🙃 I guess if you’ve never used a mower before you might wonder where the grass goes. I’ve never used a bag, never dethatched, my zoysia is more than 35 years old and very healthy. I consider the grass clippings a gift from God. As far as where does the cut grass go, it stays pretty much right there. This is a very small mower if you use it that way. If the green stuff is very tall, we just had more than 10 days of rain, then I cut little narrow swathes. It is a weed eater with a deck. I had breast cancer 4 years ago. The treatment almost did me in. Up until then I did my own yard work. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars hiring idiots to scalp my zoysia and then take out my roses, Japanese maples, fig trees, lilies and plants large enough to see with weeders. I bought this little guy for me to use as it’s small enough for me use to mow my uneven lawn and it’s hard to scalp s rise budh if the weeder stays in the deck. I love this little guy.

Answer:	I use it on my St. Augustine lawn here in Florida, and I’ve been extremely happy with it! It does leave the taller weeds, I will say, but I don’t mind going through and pulling those. It’s the only reel mower I could find that has options for cutting at the healthier height of 3.5-4” and my lawn has been thanking me.

Answer:	I have had the $179 model for less than a year. The front wheels are made of hard plastic and will not last the year. I do have to go over 300 feet of concrete driveway to get to a couple of other patches of grass, but I would still expect more from the wheels. The front wheels of the newer model look more substantial, but obviously I can't swear to their durability.Besides the reversible chute mentioned by photofan, the description says the older model is 30% easier to push (which is pretty darn easy on my bermuda grass) and the newer one says 60% easier. The older model also says "50 percent more cutting power" while the newer one says 100% ("twice") the cutting power. Edit: Having now seen the newer model, the new front wheels are essentially smaller versions of the back wheels. So I assume they would last longer than the front wheels of the older model.
Question:	This is more than twice the cost of Greenworksl? No catcher basket. I don't mind paying premium for well made product, but is this worth it
Answer:	I have found Fiskars products reliable and easy to use. They are designed tovwork with less effort than similar products. The mower is new to me and works with reasonable effort. I also got the catcher basket, which works well and adjusts for mowing height.
