Question:	Any of you live in the south and use this mower with St. Augustine grass
Answer:	I use it on my St. Augustine lawn here in Florida, and I’ve been extremely happy with it! It does leave the taller weeds, I will say, but I don’t mind going through and pulling those. It’s the only reel mower I could find that has options for cutting at the healthier height of 3.5-4” and my lawn has been thanking me.

Answer:	I have had the $179 model for less than a year. The front wheels are made of hard plastic and will not last the year. I do have to go over 300 feet of concrete driveway to get to a couple of other patches of grass, but I would still expect more from the wheels. The front wheels of the newer model look more substantial, but obviously I can't swear to their durability.Besides the reversible chute mentioned by photofan, the description says the older model is 30% easier to push (which is pretty darn easy on my bermuda grass) and the newer one says 60% easier. The older model also says "50 percent more cutting power" while the newer one says 100% ("twice") the cutting power. Edit: Having now seen the newer model, the new front wheels are essentially smaller versions of the back wheels. So I assume they would last longer than the front wheels of the older model.
Question:	This is more than twice the cost of Greenworksl? No catcher basket. I don't mind paying premium for well made product, but is this worth it
Answer:	I have found Fiskars products reliable and easy to use. They are designed tovwork with less effort than similar products. The mower is new to me and works with reasonable effort. I also got the catcher basket, which works well and adjusts for mowing height.

Answer:	I don't use one, but Amazon sent me an email offering a grass catcher for the mower.

Answer:	So far, so good - this is my first try at a push mower. The handle assembly seems to be fine.

Question:	does it mulch
Answer:	Honestly, I wasn't paying a lot of attention, but it did cut the grass up well enough to not leave clumps all over the lawn. My grass was definitely very long too. The only thing I didn't like about its "mulching" was that when you get near the driveway or gardens that it just throws grass frontwards onto the pavement or in the garden.It's hard to say whether it would mulch leaves in the fall, but I'm willing to bet it would. My only real qualms with it are that it can't cut VERY tall pieces of grass and that it's difficult to turn while keeping the blades moving well. That's just not good enough for me to keep it though.
Question:	Pamphlet says the only tool needed is an 11 mm socket wrench, reviews state need 13 mm as well. Can someone clarify if I need both
Answer:	I needed an 11mm socket wrench. I also had to use an adjustable wrench (set to 13mm) to hold the head of the bolts while I screwed on the 11mm nuts. You can use any kind of wrench that can handle something 13mm. Without the adjustable wrench I wouldn't have been able to screw on the nuts.

Answer:	It doesn't work well on uneven ground. When the mower bounces it skips patches of grass. It's an amazing mower if you have a smooth lawn.

Question:	How would it do in higher grass, overgrown weeds without brush but still knee high
Answer:	It would not work at all. I let mine get about 8-10" and it was very choppy and a lot of work. Best to mow a couple times a week and keep the grass from getting too tall.

Answer:	Try pulling it backwards when the front wheels stick or move the blades with your foot a little as this seems to unstick them. Also you may want to tiegten your back wheels as my mower was not put together very well.
Question:	Buying for a house of girls. Would this be too tall / heavy for a small young lady to use
Answer:	Yes :( Unfortunately that was our problem with it. I'm 5'7" 125 lbs. and fairly athletic and I had a VERY difficult time pushing it. PLus, it got stuck all the time on bumps/rocks/sticks and I had trouble getting it to keep moving. I live with 2 other girls and they had trouble too. We actually ended up getting a gas mower and are now going to try to sell this one. It seemed like a great idea, but we just didn't have the necessary upper body strength.
Question:	Can the blades be replaced? Or does a blade sharpener person have to be found and the mower taken int
Answer:	I also bought with this mower a sharpening kit that contained a gritty compound the reface the blades. You pop off one wheel and attach the crank from the kit, paint on the compound and turn it manually. I only used it after it sat over the winter and it only took 10 minutes to do, now its good as new again. I think the only reason to need to "replace" the blades would be major jamming on rocks, these are a pretty solid set of blades.

Question:	I just moved into a new house. i have no idea what type of grass i have. it’s rolled sod. i do know that. would a 5 blade be alright
Answer:	Depends on type of grass and how thick it is. I live in Ohio and my reel mower works on all the grasses up here. The key is to keep it trimmed and don't let it get to long and you should be fine. Some grasses used in the south are a bit course and it's preferred to have the 7 blade version.

Answer:	I chose this design handle over the "T" shape b/c I'm pretty sure this allows less force for turning, etc. The handle itself has been very strong and stable over past year or so. I love it and so glad I got away from the gas mower, tho I still use a gas trimmer. One thing I do with this for a difficult weed, you can angle up on one wheel as you give a little push -- allowing the blades to catch the pesky resistant weed...This shape handle, plus the quality construction have allowed me to do that very effectively with little effort. I will note that the foam cover on handle is crumbling...but who cares, I wear gloves!

Question:	How do I lubricate the mower.. and with what
Answer:	Unfortunately I have temporarily misfiled my owner instructions. :) They are here somewhere. What I recall being directed to do is use a WD40 type product on the blades initially, just spray on them. Swirl the blades. I went by sound, the blades sounded better after spraying. My practice is spray after each use, once dry, before putting away, just to keep the rust off, and clear any grasses, etc. that have wrapped around the wheel joint and when dry brush off any stray grass, to keep rust from getting a foot hold. It was easy to assemble, fun to use. Glad I got it.
Question:	How do you loosen the blades? Can someone send me directions or give a little instruction
Answer:	To loosen the blades, you will need to loosen both back screws equally by turning them counterclockwise.

Answer:	It's not too heavy, but depending on how tall she is it might be to tall for her. I'm 5'7, and I can easily use it. I also don't use the attached bag which comes with it. To me, this would add to the weight, because you are pushing the mower and cut grass. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Derrick, Thank you for your question. The reel can be adjusted to your desired 2 inches by moving the roller to the desired cutting height. The additional adjustment of moving the reel to a different location in relationship to the wheels should not be required. Answer:	You have got to be joking. At 1st I thought you were joking, but California is the joke! A no motor, no emissions push mower can be harmful to the environment? Is that what I'm reading? AND...it can cause cancer...omg unbelievable!

Answer:	Doubtful you'll have a problem as the tension from the spring of the bars should hold it fine. Local hardware store should have a replacement if you need the full install.

Answer:	No. It will only cut when pushed from behind. But if you flop the handle over, you can push from the front without engaging the reel,which, makes it easier to move around.

Answer:	I had same issue come to find out in order for plastic part that screws in to snap you cant screw it all the way in. If issue is just snapping it in to a round plastic part you just have to use some force to push it in but it will eventually snap
