Answer:	There are 2 things that are known to cause premature death of a Lithium battery - whether it's a leaf blower, cell phone, or electric vehicle battery: Excessive heat and excessive state of charge/discharge. Lithium batteries do best in moderate temperature range and moderate state of charge, i.e. keep them cool (but not too cold) and try to charge/use them within the range of 80% to 20% state of charge, as much as possible. These batteries do have built-in safety circuitry to prevent overheating, overdischarging, and overcharging, but the setting is likely a compromise b/w runtime and longevity, so if you want to prioritize longevity then you might have to compromise on runtime. I live n Florida, and have a 5 year old 40v GW lawn mower and a leaf blower, with one 4Ah and two spare 2Ah batteries with no noticeable reduction in runtime yet. They do get heavy use, so I was not expecting them to last this long, but I do follow a few simple rules to protect the batteries. : 1. Always store the batteries partially charged - somewhere b/w 1-2 LED indicators. 2. Always store the batteries inside my climate controlled home, to protect them from temperature extremes and humidity. 3. Charge to full about 1 hour before use, and allow thme to cool down first before use. 4. While running the mower or blower, I check the charge indicator occasionally and change the battery when the indicator gets down to one LED. 5. I store the battery Never store the battery in fully charged, or discharged state. Between use, I store the batteries with no more than 2 LEDs.

Answer:	I working with a warranty issue now - and will add too this if it gets resolved - I was able to use the website and received an email response with question to followup on. Brand new never used mower received July 7th 2020 - wanted to charge the batteries before use and one battery was completely DEAD - was 1st told to get a hold of a local dealer - out of the 5 with in 50miles only one said they had a battery - but they wanted the mower as well. That's too much of a hassle just for a dead battery - hope this can get resolved through a swap. Tested mower with the one working battery and mower was fine - just need a working 2nd battery.

Answer:	If you read the description, this mower is not recommended for anything over a 21 degree slope. That said, I do have one small area of my property with a slope of about 30 degrees, and the TB-30 pulls itself (and my 200lb. body) right up the slope.

Answer:	I have used ours on very thick Bermuda grass. It was a struggle but I went slowly and carefully. I have also been careful to keep it mowed down sense getting this mower and it seems to handle it better. Bermuda grass is always difficult to mow. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It doesn't need to be. It's lighter and easier to use than my previous combustion-engine self-propelled mower. The electric mower and lightweight design mean I can easily push this with one hand, despite my arthritis.

The Mow Joe is a good product but it is being sabotaged by Amazon and unfairly reviewed for two reasons:1. The Mow Joe 14" has a 12 amp motor. Amazon is bundling it with a 16 gauge extension cord, despite the fact the manual states that for extension cord lengths under 100ft, a 14 gauge cord is required. For lengths of 100ft or more a 12 gauge cord is required (gauges work backward so a smaller gauge is a thicker wire). Trying to pull 12 amps of power through a little 16 gauge 100ft cord will burn out any electric motor pretty quick.
