Good to know replacements are so inexpensive on eBay 🙃 I guess if you’ve never used a mower before you might wonder where the grass goes. I’ve never used a bag, never dethatched, my zoysia is more than 35 years old and very healthy. I consider the grass clippings a gift from God. As far as where does the cut grass go, it stays pretty much right there. This is a very small mower if you use it that way. If the green stuff is very tall, we just had more than 10 days of rain, then I cut little narrow swathes. It is a weed eater with a deck. I had breast cancer 4 years ago. The treatment almost did me in. Up until then I did my own yard work. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars hiring idiots to scalp my zoysia and then take out my roses, Japanese maples, fig trees, lilies and plants large enough to see with weeders. I bought this little guy for me to use as it’s small enough for me use to mow my uneven lawn and it’s hard to scalp s rise budh if the weeder stays in the deck. I love this little guy.

Answer:	The mower frame has 2 heights. The lowest one might be 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch. The higher setting is maybe an inch or a little over. If you're using just the trimmer, you can go as close to the ground as you want.

Answer:	The chemo wiped out what little knee cartilage I had. That why I bought mine. Very light wright handle length is adjustable but my 6’5” tall brother didn’t find it long enough for him. I carry a small paint brush in my tool pouch. I mow, it’s getting the spot I want done to suit me. I tap on the orange lever on the back to turn it into a weeder. If the grass is tall, wet, thick, it can build up around the edges were the weeders fits back into the deck. I grab the brush, clean off the grass, weeder goes right back into place and I’m back to mowing again. A friend said she had to step on that little lever to get hers to sit back in until she tried the paint brush. You’ll love it. Any piece of yard equipment I own had some little something I’ve had to learn. But 2-3 seconds to fix this issue. Wow!

Answer:	as long as you use it like you would a regular type of mower (keep your lines straight, mow in rows) it is fine. My lawn was long the first time I did it so it took a little bit to get used to, but you can't tell the difference in my opinion. You can also adjust the string height in mower mode. Answer:	Yep. Using this one and the previous model, I might as well sell my rake. Just remember to go a little slower to allow the mower to mulch proper. Sometime too many leaves are on the yard, so I'll bag them, but even so, they are mulched.
Question:	What is the cutting deck (the area under the mower above the blade) made out of
Answer:	plastic. I also owned a black & decker hog mm875 and my deck has holes in it. That is a big factor in why I am not spending the money to fix it up & try to keep it going after 5 years of use--- cheap plastic parts. The cheap plastic-foam handle grips ripped the first time I used the mower. The plastic fan & a plastic, square piece called the 'blade insulator' (that is a sort of big plastic 'washer'/spacer that attaches with the blade) also broke. The plastic handle- push mechanism also came apart & I had to rebuild the parts holding it on... and it feels so cheap I don't trust it, so I don't want to put any money into fixing it up to keep it going. I could have just replaced the motor brushes, wheels, fan, blade, plastic blade insulator, knob (that screws on the handle), for $77 through an online parts store and tried to keep it going for more years, but the number one factor that ultimately decided me against it, and to just toss it after 5 years instead, is all of the cheap plastic parts that I felt were too fragile.

Answer:	There are two positions that the handle will lock in place and they are numbered 1 and 2. Number one is for short people like me and it is 40 inches from the ground to the top of the handle. Number two is 4 inches higher.

Answer:	This is not a mulching mower. The Black and Decker 13 AMP 20" corded electric mulching mower is MM2000 - a slightly differently conformed rear area with a plastic guard that fits into the opening to close off the underside of the carriage to create the "mulching" environment for the blade. With the MM 2000, you have both options, you can either remove the plastic guard (shield) and attach the grass catcher or keep the plastic shield in place to mulch the grass. I made the same mistake but I needed the mower ASAP and so kept it. It is a powerful one, I'll grant you that, it just doesn't mulch. The mulching mower is great, and now I will have to bag my grass and dump it in in plastic bags to be trashed, pain in the you-know-what!

Question:	I have a 100' cord, i believe it is stamped inside in tiny letters as being 15awg. it also seems to say 3x15awg. also, does the voltage not matter? it
Answer:	Sure. I actually bought a much smaller one, but metal is metal. You will need a hot pad or some other kind of insulation to handle the handle, however.
Question:	Is this mover corded and a mulching mower with a rear bagger. I also wanted a 13 amp power supply and corded. The handles they fold for easy storage
Answer:	It is constructed of stainless steel. I suppose so but it would become very hot. I wouldn't use it that way but I guess you could.
Question:	How much cable is supplied with the mower
Answer:	Probably not, induction heating requires ferrous metal and stainless steel typically does not have enough iron in it to create the resistive heating. SS cookware can be tested with a magnet to see if it will work. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Induction_cooking
Question:	Why is this one cheaper than the smaller, lower amp model
Answer:	I use a different brand, same arrangement. Works well to froth milk to cream. I would not attempt to whip cream That's just another level. Though tall, narrow bowl is the rule for hand whipping cream as that helps force aeration. I just don't think the screen would work as well as a whisk to get the stiffer peaks you want for whipped cream.

Question:	How long is the cord
Answer:	As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps.
Question:	Is this lawn mower self-propelled
Answer:	No. It's not self propelled. It's very light until the bag fills up. You just need to empty the bag when it feels heavy. It's really for a smaller lawn. I wouldn't use an electric mower on a large lawn.
Question:	I don't see any warranty information. If there is one, how long is it and what is covered? Thanks
Answer:	Amazon's ad says 4 years. The bottom motor bearing just blew out on mine 2 months after the 4 year warranty expired so I guess I'm boned. I will probably buy the same mower again though. It has worked great up to yesterday when the motor suddenly just seized up. I borrowed my sister's 18" greenworks mower to finish the job. They both work (worked) great.
Question:	Amazon is showing a COLEMAN OUTDOOR EXTENSION CABLE 10 AMP that is frequently "bought together" with this mower. Correct that this is not enough amps
Answer:	A 14 gauge cord should be safe with a 12-amp mower. Some would recommend a 12 gauge cord if you need 100ft. The mower will have a bit more power with the heavier gauge (due to reduced voltage drop in the cord) but the cord will be heavier and more expensive.
