Turn the unit upside and down in one hand and push the blade cover gently by the other hand. then slide the blade cover like the photo.

Answer:	No it is set up with a plug that is for 110 volts. My thought is that changing the plug to work wit 220 will cause the motor to burn out.

Answer:	Did not come with sheath or did I see it offered. We recently moved and I made a sheath to protect the blade by folding a piece of cardboard and using duct tape to secure it. Do not use after move, just careful about where I store it. Very impressed with unit. Also have their blower. You cannot go wrong with either. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I am not sure I understand the question. I charged it overnight but I believe it will recharge in about an hour to an hour and a half. It lasted me two hours of solid work and the entire unit worked well and after a year, it still does. In a nutshell, it is electric...but for electric, I think it is the best on the market.
