My only remaining trick is- I have not yet found a spot to fasten this to- there are two holes. I am seeking something like a stump that is 2 feet off the ground. I haven't come across yet. So most often use a flat stepping stone- instead of earth. This device makes very nice kindling. Use for both indoor fireplace and solo stove. It is an excellent product. |

| Answer: | That's the right fan description but the wrong picture. The number of blades is not a requrement for a wood stove. Different models are set for different heat ranges, i.e. GS is for gas stoves. It won't handle the extremes a wood stove is capable of. Read the descriptions. Two blades will pump 100 fpm. Three blades will handle 150 fpm. You want 3 blades. This isn't a house fan. Don't expect a lot of speed. You will feel the heat flow across the top of the stove and rise into the room to the side of the stove. I have a 3 blade 802. It is a delightful addition to the top of my 1976 Vermont Castings Defiant. It's also a great conversation starter. |
