Lgnition Check Steps:

1. Electrode Wire: Whether it is inserted into the valve hole of the safety valve, only insert it to transfer the electric spark to the burner head and ignite the gas.

2. Adjust the ignition needle, Remove the ignition cover, align the ignition needle with the air hole, and adjust the distance between the needle and the air hole to 3mm.

3. Control Switch Ignition : Since the gas pipe and the burner have air, the rotary switch releases the propane gas for about 20 seconds, discharges the air, then returns to the closed position and ignites again.

4. Check whether the gas in the cylinder is running out. If the gas in the cylinder is almost used up, the gas pressure in the bottle will decrease, and the amount of gas delivered to the burner will not be enough. It will not ignite, so the tank or gas cylinders must be replaced.

Because this table is designed as furniture, it can be used for two purposes, actually it does not need to wear a cloth cover, just put a lid provided and place it in the room when not in use is perfect! As per the safety CSA regulations that we must adhere to, we cannot advise the use of the Outland Living Fire Tables on a wood deck. The minimum clearances for our products state the use of this unit must be on a non-combustible surface. We recommend looking into the composition of your deck prior to use of our Fire Tables. Question:	How much heat does the product actually put off? Does it give off some warmth
Answer:	We have it on our back patio with no overhead protection, so not as much as a traditional wood fire pit but it's not apples to apples though. The low height, openness and flame size of the traditional fire pit radiates the heat further. The table height plays a factor as most of the heat is about torso height (modern style outdoor furniture so it's lower than most) but if you get close enough, you will certainly feel it. Owned this table for about a week and used a few times since. We have the glass wind guard and living in NC, haven't had the need to "feel the heat" yet. With the wind guard on the table, it will shield your drinks from the heat for the most part. The ambience from the fire reflecting off the glass and glass stones is relaxing. Overall, we are very pleased and looking forward for the cooler weather. Well worth the money. This company's Customer Service is great too. Part damaged from UPS handling and sent part the next day. No resistance.
Question:	Has anyone else had issues with the Ignitor on this fire pit? Mine does not work, directly out of the box
Answer:	Had the same problem. Worked for the first month no issues. Then the ignitor wouldn't flame up even with the spark. 1st changed the gas because mine was low. 2nd moved the rocks back. Unscrewed the 2 short screws, then took a wire brush to the square piece and spark piece with some WD-40. Just a little as it is flammable 1 small spray, then wiped away any excess. I was hopeless but then it started right up. Perhaps its the rock residue that overtime creates a film that doesn't allow it to ignite. Good luck

Answer:	8 hours seems right for at full tank at 50,000 BTUs. A 20lb (4.73 gallon) propane tank has 432,804 BTU. Divide that by 50,000 and you get about 8.5 hours.
Question:	My order didn't come with the cover for the propane. Will it come separately
Answer:	I really hope it comes separately and soon. My main table was delivered over a week ago and no tank cover. On chat with Amazon about it right now. Having the tank exposed is ugly.

Answer:	No. My son feels they all should sold with wind guards heat is fine and blue glass too. I am having problems with certain parts not working but company’s been good

Answer:	I know, it’s not clear. There is a black rubber tube like piece sticking out of the valve assembly (on the left as you assemble it upside down). Pull that off and slide it over the wire. You’ll see the connection once you pull it off. Connect the wire and pull the black rubber cover back over it.

Answer:	We have a large umbrella over ours to help keep the heat in. It's very pleasant and cozy. The heat is not nearly hot enough to hurt the umbrella.
Question:	I now this may be tough to answer but can anyone say roughly how long does a full 20 lb propane tank last using the firepit
Answer:	As you might suspect, it depends on how long you run it, if you have the gas on high or low and if you use it everyday. We used it every morning for about an hour, had the gas on medium and a tank lasted almost 2 weeks.

Answer:	I have not yet put wheels on mine yet but the legs are an 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” and solid on the bottom. So you could weld or find some fasteners to attach the casters to the legs.

Answer:	Mine is having the same problem as well. I have a brand new full tank hooked up and checked all the connections. It lights and then goes out even if I quickly try to turn it to high. I have done some research and it seems as though it may be the thermocouple. Either it is faulty or is not positioned correctly to tell it to keep the flame lit. I am going to try moving it or cleaning it and will report back if that fixes the issue.

Answer:	No, we didn't have a terrible experience with the warranty coverage. We had a problem with our Blue Rhino lighting and we contacted them and they sent us a new lighting unit without any questions asked.
Question:	Can I buy the lava one and add my own glass ? Or are the different
Answer:	You can change the glass. Many different colors. I would contact the manufacturer about changing it to Lava rock.
Question:	Has anyone had issues with this rusting
Answer:	Ours has been setting outside since May and it has not rusted. We keep ours covered and that probably helps. There is one tiny spot of rust on the lid where the handle rests. I left the cover off and some rain sat in that space and caused a touch of rust.

Answer:	I just use a lighter. Mine was doing the same thing so I decided to bypass the ignition and just use a lighter.

Answer:	The cover does not fit with the wind shield on. we take the shield off when we don't use it. Love this fire pit!
Question:	Aluminum table top is discoloring . It’s always covered so not sure what’s causing the discoloration
Answer:	I have not had this experience and I don't always keep it covered. Could be your climate conditions. I've had mine for about 7 months with no issues other than the igniter doesn't work very well.
Question:	Can you use the fire pit with fire but without the glass wind guard
Answer:	Definitely but it looks great with the glass. If you’re looking for some heat remove the glass as it restricts warmth

Question:	The fire pit came with the spark ignition wire too short, it had to be removed in order to install the ignition plate. How can this issue be fixed
Answer:	Ours was short but we flipped the piece around and bent the wire the other direction and it fit perfect. Also, you have to add a battery to the ignition switch. Not sure if you already tried these or not just thought I'd throw that out there just in case.
Question:	how do you flip the buner to make it fit and why is the control panel upside down
Answer:	The control panel should not be upside down. You have it installed wrong. The propane line should be close to the opening for the control panel. Look inside and make sure you have it that way
Question:	My glass wind guard came with no hardware. How do I contact the company to get it
Answer:	You can contact the seller, go into your orders find disorder and contact the seller. They should respond quickly as ours did when we were missing Hardware.
