Question:	Can you smoke meat with these logs instead of hardwood? Would it impart coffee flavor
Answer:	these logs do not produce a roaring blaze....none of the product has ever 'popped" forward. We have a left a small remaining fire with our grill pulled across. Also, I burn my logs toward the back of the grate and have never had a problem

Answer:	They may be 12 inches long and about as round as a large coffee cup. I don’t remove the paper packaging that they come in, so not sure if the size I gave you is real accurate. Answer:	It’s OK to burn duraflame Gold firelogs outdoors, but note since there’s more air available, the log will burn faster, reducing the total burn time. Please only burn one at a time, as they tend to soften while burning and if you add anything to the fire, the log could break apart and flare up for a short period of time. Answer:	It is strong enough to grab a 4" x 20" piece of firewood and handle it comfortably . The tong expands 12+ inches, but the handles will be that wide also. A little more difficult to control the trimmings.

Answer:	Hmm, I would say yes, quite easily, depending on the length I suppose. My house had these as a kid. I picked up pretty good sized logs with them. I was a pretty strong rural boy, there is little limitation with these, they open large if need be. The only real limit is, can you pick it up. I loved this tool so much I bought as an adult, I am 61 years old. I use it as a really strong grabber....I do not have a fireplace, but I do like bonfires.......

Answer:	I have not heard of this. My son uses this weekly. He burns mostly wood but also has used charcoal without any issues.
