Answer:	Hi. I had the same issue (clear glass is what came with mine). 3 or 4 options as I see it. The issue is that you are covering that boxy "vent" that sticks up in the fire bowl so uncover that area, problem solved. Option #2 Get "reflective" fire stones to mix in to transfix your friends and provide more alcohol. Add psilocybin as needed. #3 Get black reflective rocks. That could look really neat when you mix them with the crystal (diamonds!) reflective (5 lbs of each should be plenty. 3.5:1.5 seems like a neat sounding mix. Throw in .5lbs reflective red . Cool! #4 ALL of the above.

HOW TO SAVE ON THE COST OF YOUR FIRE GLASS

Lava Rock is inexpensive when compared to fire glass. You could use a one inch deep lava rock layer to initially cover your burner pan. This will reduce the glass depth needed by one inch. This can be applied to any fire pit or fireplace, no matter what size and make a considerable saving over the cost of using fire glass throughout.

Using lava rock as a base material does have a single draw back. It will cause some soot build up on your fire glass. So periodically you may need to remove your fire glass and rinse off the soot. Be sure to allow the glass to completely dry before placing it back over the lava rock.

Answer:	Hi, the formula for a rectangular fire pit is length x width x planned glass depth / 20. So, for your fire pit, the calculation would be: 35 x 18 x 2 / 20 = AS MUCH AS, BUT PROBABLY LESS THAN, 63 pounds of fire glass. I would recommend buying 4 or 5 jars of fire glass, each of which contain 10 pounds of glass. I'm suggesting 4-5 jars instead of 6 jars because your planned glass depth is probably not as high as the depth of your fire pit. (Generally, you want to aim to have no more than 1 inch of glass covering the gas/propane burners.) So it's probably safest to start with just 4 or 5 jars. With Amazon, it's really easy to order an additional jar or two if you end up needing it, and it will arrive in just a couple days. Answer:	This glass it’s made to support hight temperatures, I honestly don’t recommend to use with wood because it will be mix up, even if you put screen, I use this product twice in gas fire pit

Answer:	Yes! HomeGlow fire glass is safe for use in an ethanol indoor fireplace. In the case of an ethanol (or bioethanol) fireplace, you just need to make sure that it is placed around the edges of the burner and doesn't fall directly into the burner, because it could block the flame (which wouldn't be a safety hazard, but it could extinguish the flame). (This is in contrast to natural gas firepits/fireplaces and propane firepits/fireplaces, where it's fine to place the glass rocks directly on top of the burner, as long as your layer of fire glass doesn't bury the burner too deeply.) So, to summarize, the special tempered glass in HomeGlow fire pit glass rocks / fireplace glass rocks is safe for use natural gas fire features, liquid propane (LP) fire features, and ethanol (bioethanol) fire features.
