Answer:	It's more of a cornflower blue color. They are super stiff and don't have any flow to them at all. They do darken the room some but if you are looking for blackout, these won't cut it.

Question:	Do you need to clean and rinse the glass off before using
Answer:	Yes, the bag contains a lot of glass dust. It also has some smaller glass shards that I would recommend disposing of, as you don’t want them to clog the gas ports. I dumped it all in a bucket, added water and a small amount of Simple Green and swooshed them around with a wooden spoon. Didn’t have to rinse. Then I took them out with a clean gloved hand and put them on old towels to dry. They are Beautiful!! Enjoy!

Answer:	No, not that I can tell. You can pour bleach into the spout which cleans it out, but it does build up grime fairly quickly. I clean mine at least once a week.
