Answer:	Thank you for reaching out. The ceramic fire balls amplify any heat generated, and in some circumstances may melt or crack the glass shields on indoor fire places. Also, when placed around a burner, be sure not to cover any exit holes on the burner with a fire ball, as that can cause gas to leak without burning. Answer:	The instructions for our gas burning fire pit said to put a layer of the "lava" rocks down first and then add a layer of the glass stones on top. They look beautiful and they hide the layer of ugly stones.

Answer:	My Fire Pit instructions said that I need to have a base of lava rock and the cost of the Lavaglass is high. It would be worth starting with a base of lava rock. I do know a lot of people who have only used Lavaglass though.

Answer:	I have a round fire table on my deck. The fire pit area is 17 inches across. I put a layer of lava rock in the bottom, and then filled the rest with the glass. I covered the lava completely, so you can only see the glass. I bought one jar, and used about 3/4's of it.

Answer:	Update - Currently there is no device on Home kit echo system that is one way radio. The BOND communicate with ceiling fan and fireplaces as a one way radio controller. Apple does not seem to allow one radio on their system.

Answer:	For some reason, Amazon does not allow review on this item (probably because of negative reviews). This Bond Smart Home Automation has lots of potential, but presently it is still in a very primitive stage (just bought one 4/2018) it can only learn the remote of few popular ceiling fan company like Hunter at this time (I have a Reiker fans, and it cannot learn the remote and customer service cannot help). I am still keeping the Bond because it control my Hunter fans very well from Alexa. I wouldn't consider this Bond for anything else but popular ceiling fans only.

Answer:	These valves are pretty universal. The main components are the same in all firepits. Rust and corrosion is a main issue. Make sure before buying the replacement that you can remove the existing valve without too much difficulty. Pits left out in the elements without a cover may be too rusted out. Have a couple of good adjustable wrenches and some penetrating oil to help with dis-assembly. Take pictures to help with re-assembly and you shouldn't have any problems.
