Answer:	no, not really it is intended to be an in-pond pump not an external pump, so the pump sits in the water submerged.

Answer:	Hello. We have been running it 24 hours. and our BR window is about 20 yards away. We do not notice the pump noise.

Answer:	I am rather certain it is 1". I am assuming you are referring to the thread size. Again I believe with good comfidence it is 1: NPT. Although an assortment of barbed nipples comes with the pump. I used 1" corrugated hose to service my old fashioned cast iron hand pump at the top of my spillway barrel. The pump supplies so much water that I had to dial it down to the minimum setting!

Answer:	I'm not sure that I fully understand you question and so to answer I'll tell you what I've done. The pump itself is approximately 9.5" high. The top part being the outlet pipe. I've set the pump on the bottom of the pond which is 22" deep. I have attached to the outlet pipe a hose that leads the water up to my waterfall which stands about 5' above the outlet pipe. My pond holds approximately 750 gals and the pressure from the pump is more than adequate. Hope that helps.

Answer:	Thank you for your question, Kenneth! You cannot place a pump inside this filter. You attach tubing to the front of the filter, and run the tubing to the pump, both of which are submerged. You need a pump between 200 and 2000 gph to operate it. This filter is a pre-filter that helps prevent clogging of the pump in any pond or can be used to completely filter a small pond up to 500 gallons in size.

Question:	Will these work on fountain requiring 5/8 tubing
Answer:	Thank you for your question S. Do you mean with a pump that requires 5/8" ID? This kit comes with adapters for the diverter, allowing you to attach a spitter or other item as well, that are 1/2", 2/4" and 1" ID. The pump adapters will fit our WGP pond pumps. There are 3 different threaded sizes for these. Those are the same in size, ID. We do not have any that are 5/8", unfortunately.

Answer:	The height can be set 6”, 12” or 18” high.
Question:	How do you use the 1" tubing adapter on the diverter
Answer:	Hi Martin, Not sure which size adapters come with it, but you can always buy another adapter to go from one of the sizes you have to the 1" tubing (if the 1" adapter is not already included).
Question:	I'd like to attach this to my pump and still have the waterfall working. Can anyone link the parts they bought in order to do this
Answer:	Absolutely terrific question, and yes, you can Lawrence! The diverter is the piece that attaches to the adapter on the top of the pump. It has two ports, one on each side. One port is actually a flow control knob. The other one is a port that allows you to attach tubing to the diverter so you can operate a water fall, spitter, etc. Your waterfall needs a good amount of flow rate though so it would take a large pump to operate both. Count on needing at least 100 gph per inch of waterfall weir. Also, add in the head the pump has to pump against to determine if your pump can handle both. The pump can only be placed no more than 18" below the surface for the fountain's height to fit properly as well. Hope this info helps!

Answer:	Birds did drink from fountain but have no way of knowing if it harmed them. Does say not to use with plants and may be toxic to fish. Was getting lots of green algae. Started using PHYSAN 20. Just a few drops each week. Water is so clear and haven't had any algae. Water will foam up when more water is added but doesn't last. Always have a block in the fountain as a back up
Question:	Do you have to clean out the algae before using this product
Answer:	Thank you for your question, Donna! We do recommend cleaning it out, if possible, as this product is more of a preventative product. It doesn't work as well at killing algae that is present as it does at preventing it from occurring. Customers rave about this product when put in prior to algae growth. So if you clean out your fountain first, then refill it and drop this in, you should not have algae the rest of the season.

Answer:	Our pond is maybe 60 gallons and it cleans it well. Never any issues with it besides the filter box floating which is solved with a rock on it. I would imagine 200 is at its upper range. Be sure to wash out the filters at least once a month to keep pump running well.

Answer:	I have a very large planter that has a pump with a fountain and that works great but it does not have a filter. I use the pump that is the next size down for that and it is quite sufficient. What is the diameter of the barrel? I don't have exact dimensions of the filter box, (12" X 14ish as an off-the-top-of-my-head guess???)" but I think it would fit the typical whiskey barrel and if all else fails you could put the pump upon the filter box.This pump might be a step up in power than what you need. My pond is a bit over 100 gallons and this pump is more than enough. It worked all through the northern NY winter and my dime store goldfish, now 3 years old, are thriving! I'm still very happy with this purchase, I recommend this product and I hope this helps.

Question:	does it float
Answer:	The bottom of the heater gets hot however it does not sit fully flat due to the power cable entering thru the bottom.If your crock does not have water in it and the temp goes below 35 degress it will remain on so keep that in consideration.It gets hot enough that it does melt ice. However depending on the width and depth of your crock it may not unfreeze it now or keep it totally unfrozen. I have it at the edge of my pond which is about 6 inches deep and right now with the below zero weather we have been having it is keeping a hole about 1 foot in diameter. Warmer temps in the 20's or so it keeps a larger area unfrozen.
Question:	The ice has already frozen. Can I put the rock on the ice while plugged in and wait for it to melt though

Question:	Is this the same hose that is used below the water line in marine applications
Answer:	I work in a factory and have used this to open hundreds of boxes each shift. I use it to cut the tape and don't use it to cut into the box itself or you will dull it quickly. The blade can be turned around because it has a blade on both ends of the blade. Each blade is like really having 2 blades. I love this knife.
Question:	Where can I get fittings to connect this to schedule 40 pipe? 1-1/4” barb fittings do not fit in it. They’re to big
Answer:	I bought this case for this knife. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I5GSK1G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I attach it to my belt so I don't lose the case or the knife. It's held closed with a huge piece of Velcro so it opens and closes quickly while working in a fast pace environment. It's also machine washable but remember to close the Velcro before washing. It's best to let it air dry with it open (it takes a couple days to dry) or dry on low heat in the dryer so it doesn't shrink.

Question:	Can this be used as a suction hose at 10 GPM? Would it collapse in on itself
Answer:	It comes with a 3/4 fitting for inlet but it is a standard plumbing fitting so I may use a fitting with the same threads but for 1" diameter hose to my inlet filter. The discharge is a smaller diameter thread but probably takes 1 1/8 " diameter hose. I suggest that you check the specifications on line.
Question:	Am I really going to save $2300 buying this tubing
Answer:	Cord is about 8' long. Idk about the watts of the pump but it costs about $15 a month to run it 24/7. Its on a waterfall pushing about 9' high through a UV filter system. Does a good job
