Answer:	This device does not go in the tank. You need to purchase a separate tube, similar to styrofoam, you punch holes in that. This device sits outside the aquarium, the clear tube connects to the device and the styrofoam tube pushing air through it, making bubbles appear in the fish tank.

Answer:	I do not know if they are internal but no external check valves are visible. I have never had a problem of water filling the tubes when it is off. I use it in a 30 gallon tank.
Question:	How long does it latest before needing new batteries
Answer:	Unfortunately all air pumps get that way. The only way I quieten mine is to put it below in my cabinet. The cheaper they are, the louder they get. There is no No Noise air pump that I've found, but using one in your aquarium keeps your fish healthier, so I got use to the noise of my other ones outside my cabinet!
Question:	Will this air pump work on a 29 gallon aquarium
Answer:	One end has a plug that you pull out if you want air to flow out the other end without a valve control on it. Don't know what disc broke off unless you twisted the top off the plug.

Answer:	yes it will because it only hooks or hangs on the edge of the tank rim/ it is better than the metal ones, because they corrode and get stuck or break these last a very long time and are of good quality.

Question:	What does the red light flashing mean? How can you tell if it is on or not? The turn off and on button is really hard to tell what it is doing
Answer:	When the red light is flashing ... the pump is charging. There is a switch under the solar panel to turn the pump on. The green light signals that the pump is on & charged.
Question:	do you think this would work to keep a water bowl from freezing
Answer:	yes it could as long as what ever animal its for leaves it in the bowl
Question:	Can I hard wire this to a 5v usb power source
Answer:	Yes you can it can be opened easy and you can see everything inside to hook up to it has a usb input I have a solar battery back up plugged into mine redundant for me but piece of mind my pond will never be still in a power outage
