Answer:	I have a 15' round, 54" deep above ground pool that I bought from a local pool store. They installed it s well. I was given a 1HP pump by Waterway. I never had any problem with sand being blown into the pool, and though there was some rotation in the pool, it was far from a whirlpool. It kept the leaves & debris in the center of the pool, which made it easier to clean. That was 6 years ago, & my Waterway just died. I just replaced it with this pump. It's supposed to be arriving Tuesday, so I can't comment on any differences. I can tell you that the pool company gave me a TWM 19 diameter sand filter, & it's been just fine for us. I hope this helps!

Answer:	Barbara, no special cookware needed. I caution you NOT to ever try to adjust the timer once it starts, since you could break it. Always let the timer run out before adding more time..and if less time is needed, simply lift the handle to shut off. Never adjust the timer once its set! I set my Boss to 350 degrees and have never needed to adjust it. I cook steaks, chicken, salmon/cod, pork chops all in 15 minutes or less. I recommend a light soaped sponges to wipe the under glass and follow with a wet paper towel to clean any spatter. I love it. Maybe spray PAM on the grate to avoid food sticking! enjoy!

I don't slow cook anything like chili or soup in it because the timer has to be reset which takes away from the set it and forget it process. Read the other great reviews and then decide. If you going to use this for simple lunch or dinners like most do then research to see if this one or a different one will fit your needs. If this is another just purchase to purchase something then save your money. Overall I do like using mine to prepare dinner 6 nights in a week because it saves time without having to defrost foods.

I’ve seen a crazy amount of this labels pop up recently and all say California on them. As a Radiation Therapist myself I am not downplaying by any means. However everything we touch or are near has a risk to some degree. From brake pads to produce. even sunscreen overuse causes cancer. I’m assuming packages just have not been updated with warning labels.

Answer:	They are the same thing. The W3 is the part # for the pumps sold on the internet and the non-W3 is the part # if you buy it in a local pool store.

Answer:	We bought for our 18x36, holding 23,000 gallons. We got the 1&1/2 hp. Sp. Giving us great service. Bought a off brand 2 years ago and it quit before the season was out. Only buy a Hayward. You get what you pay for!
Question:	Why is this pump not available in California
Answer:	I am not sure what the expected lifetime is. We have had our pool for 24 years, and this is the second pump that we have put in. Our pumps (the main pump and the sweeper pump) are on timers. They run every day for a certain amount of time as we don't ever cover our pool summer or winter. This is the first year that we have replaced them, so I guess you could say they both lasted 24 years.
Question:	Will the Hayward 1.5 inch adapters work
Answer:	I don’t remember what I had however this pump is much more powerful. I have a 16x24 foot unground pool. I didn’t realize this pump had twice the power but my husband and I love it. So much better than what I had. There is a switch to change it from 220 to 110 which was great seeing how I don’t have 230

Question:	It can't be both, they work differently. it's either in ground or above ground. please list correctly
Answer:	Well yes actually they can be duel, depending on the installment - an in ground draws water up called lift - an above ground doesn't have to really lift once the syphon starts the pool water pretty much feeds itself with a boost from pump)( should not use an above ground on a below ground - but can use a duel or in ground on an in ground - would recommend using thick wiring regular romex like 12 or 14 gauge will cause the motors to run hot and shorten life of pump motor drastically (bigger the hose water flows easy) (bigger the wire electric flows easy) same difference doesnt cost anymore with bigger wire just removes the restriction that small wire can cause - I use 6 gauge to wire mine never had or have any issues runs great motor runs cool and never over heats - I would suggest 6 to 8 gauge wire - lower number thicker the wire
Question:	This pump is advertized as dual speed. how do you switch fro low speed to high
Answer:	I’ve never changed the speed. I didn’t know it was an option. However, the pump did get very loud after about 6 months. The O ring disintegrated in the impeller and caused the noise. The company would not help us. Paperwork says one year warranty but when I contacted xtremepower, I was told the warranty was fit 6 months only and we had just hit 6 months.

Answer:	It is 88 GPM (NOT 150)

Answer:	You have to have an electrician wire it it is not something that works as any other electrical unit ever seen
