Answer:	no, not really it is intended to be an in-pond pump not an external pump, so the pump sits in the water submerged.

Answer:	Hello. We have been running it 24 hours. and our BR window is about 20 yards away. We do not notice the pump noise.
Question:	What is the size of the output nipple
Answer:	I am rather certain it is 1". I am assuming you are referring to the thread size. Again I believe with good comfidence it is 1: NPT. Although an assortment of barbed nipples comes with the pump. I used 1" corrugated hose to service my old fashioned cast iron hand pump at the top of my spillway barrel. The pump supplies so much water that I had to dial it down to the minimum setting!
Question:	what is approximate maximum depth for outlet? Thanks
Answer:	I'm not sure that I fully understand you question and so to answer I'll tell you what I've done. The pump itself is approximately 9.5" high. The top part being the outlet pipe. I've set the pump on the bottom of the pond which is 22" deep. I have attached to the outlet pipe a hose that leads the water up to my waterfall which stands about 5' above the outlet pipe. My pond holds approximately 750 gals and the pressure from the pump is more than adequate. Hope that helps.

You need a pump between 200 and 2000 gph to operate it. This filter is a pre-filter that helps prevent clogging of the pump in any pond or can be used to completely filter a small pond up to 500 gallons in size.

Answer:	Measurements are 10"H x 11" W x 12"L. Note that the top has a circle lid that is included in the measurements. The W and H are a 1/2" shorter everywhere except around the top inch near the lid.

Answer:	Go online to any pond supply place. I buy large 3'x4' sheets of filter material and cut my own. They last longer and cost pennies compared to pre-cut filter pads. I do the same for my waterfall.
Question:	Hose fitting size
Answer:	1 1/4 inch there's a lot of different hose out there I have used tetra flexible hose and not had any issues. I've read where some hose has pinholes and end up leaking. Not to say if you drag this hose across the rocks it won't leak either, but mine hasn't yet.
Question:	Is the pump able to sit inside the skimmer
Answer:	No, it is not designed to work that way. The input to feed water to the skimmer is on the back of the skimmer. If the pump were mounted inside the skimmer how could this connection be made?

Answer:	I use it in my goldfish pond. And my box turtles have access to it. No harm has come to either animal as long as the water is aerated. This product removes the oxygen from the water.

The outlet is 1.25" so if you are placing it away from the pond, you'll need however many feet in 1.25" ID vinyl, braided or ribbed tubing. There are multiple inlet choices so the tubing for that depends on the pump. You will need either 3/4" or 1" tubing for the inlet. The flow through the filter should be no less than 300 gph and no more than 500 gph. We recommend the WGP 550 usually, but it depends on where you plan to place the filter and how far from the pump it will be as well as whether the pump is going to operate anything else for you.

Answer:	Your pump might be to strong.had to adjust water flow til leak stops.think pump has to be less then 500gpm.
Question:	Is the water flow/ pump flow adjustable on this filter
Answer:	I don't think there's any way to do this. Flow rate through this filter dependent on the flow rate of the pump that is feeding water into this biofilter. If you adjust the flow rate of the pump, the flow rate of the filter will fluctuate accordingly.

Question:	Is this Filter Good Enough To Filter A 200 Gallon Pond
Answer:	Our pond is maybe 60 gallons and it cleans it well. Never any issues with it besides the filter box floating which is solved with a rock on it. I would imagine 200 is at its upper range. Be sure to wash out the filters at least once a month to keep pump running well.
Question:	Will the entire unit fit well on the bottom of a whiskey barrel (used as the pond
Answer:	I have a very large planter that has a pump with a fountain and that works great but it does not have a filter. I use the pump that is the next size down for that and it is quite sufficient. What is the diameter of the barrel? I don't have exact dimensions of the filter box, (12" X 14ish as an off-the-top-of-my-head guess???)" but I think it would fit the typical whiskey barrel and if all else fails you could put the pump upon the filter box.This pump might be a step up in power than what you need. My pond is a bit over 100 gallons and this pump is more than enough. It worked all through the northern NY winter and my dime store goldfish, now 3 years old, are thriving! I'm still very happy with this purchase, I recommend this product and I hope this helps.

Answer:	No. It's simply a matter of not connecting any of the "fountain" spray posts and running the hose directly to the rock or waterfall location.
