Answer:	I don't know for sure, but they would communicate on the same frequency, so it would depend on the distance between the units. I don't think they would jam or interfere with each other.

Answer:	Check that your batteries are charged to 1.5. If you don't have a way (voltage meter) to check, try brand new batteries that are new off the store shelf. For the sync-up process, the batteries must be 1.5 or better. It's the #1 problem we see.

Answer:	All outdoor sensors should use Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. Alkalines will freeze, rechargables start at a max of 1.4 v and drop to 1.2 v fairly quickly and do not like extreme cold. They do not work in Iowa winter. All my external sensors use AA Ultimate Lithiums and last the entire winter, even at -15 below zero F. I change them out every Fall.

Answer:	If I may say, you might want to reconsider a product from LaCrosse. I have had an s85814 weather station for about 3 years and it currently serves as the night light in my bedroom. It never worked and LaCrosse wasn't much help. The temperature outside was always off by close to 20 degrees. Don't do it, you'll regret it!

Question:	What is the thickness measurement of the outdoor sensor? I live in an apartment and must place it between a window and a screen
Answer:	Here are the measurements: 3/4" (at 'hanger' end) to 5/8" thick (main body of sensor). it is 5" high and 1.5' wide. It would certainly fit between the window and the screen; however, my husband says you may not get a true temperature reading because it would pick up the heat from the window even though it is outside. Can you put it on the window sill on the outside of the screen? That is where I have ours and it works fine. Has not fallen off our brick window sill even though it is slightly slanted. Question:	does it work in very cold weather, negative degrees
Answer:	We live in Texas. It was fine for 4 years until our first cold front came in 2 weeks ago. We went down to 60 F when the sensor stopped working. I ordered a new sensor with amazon. That one stopped working after 3 days when the next cold front came in at 55 F. What a terrible waste of money. I'll be calling La Crosse on Monday.

Recommend: brand-name, standard alkaline batteries (expiration date: 7 years ahead of current year, or tested 1.48v on voltmeter) TIP: Avoid rechargeable or lithium batteries in display

2. Remove all batteries from both display and sensor(s)

3. Press any button to completely discharge residual electricity. Leave batteries out for 10 minutes (both sensor & display)

Answer:	I have two display consoles and it works great. One upstairs and one on ground floor. I can see both on-line and on phone via app. I set alerts in case HVAC issues, which is great benefit as well. I ordered WS-2902A-CONSOLE-KIT which is what you need.

Answer:	Wireless devices transmit a radio frequency (RF) signal, generally in the 400 – 900 MHz range. The manufacturer will rate the maximum transmission distance as line of sight. However, the signal will transmit through walls and other obstructions. The following is a table of reception loss vs. the transmission medium. Each “wall” or obstruction decreases the transmission range by the factor shown below. Medium RF Signal Strength Reduction Glass (untreated) 5-15% Plastics 10-15% Wood 10-40% Brick 10-40% Concrete 40-80% Metal 90-100% RF will not transmit through metal barriers. Answer:	My Accuwrong failed in the 13th month and support from Accurite was horrible at best. I had an Amibeint for over 10 years but the ws 2902 is not working, they sent me 3 replacement units all with the same issue, NOT TRANSMITTING.

Answer:	No, they are of equal quality. The console on the WS-1002-WiFi is much nicer with multiple screens and TFT display. This is LCD with color film. The WS-2902 is a very capable unit.

My experience is batteries will last about 5 weeks if the temperature stays above freezing. Sensor position matters too. My sensor is about 12 meters from the receiver, and the signal has to pass through 5 wood frame walls.

Answer:	So long as it is not exposed to rain. Direct sunlight could affect any electronics. And you would have the 'outdoor ' sensor which you could use indoors if you wanted to. Depending upon your climate extremes of heat or cold eventually affect all electronics. Should work with those caveats.

Answer:	You need to open the battery compartment, take the plastic off the battery and hook it up.

Tips for Outdoor Sensor

1. The north side of your building is the ideal side for installing the sensor. The sensor should be installed under the shade and at approximately 2 meters height, this will help to prevent the inaccurate measurement results.

2. Also please make sure the sensor is in a wind-neutral position that is neither wind-protected nor wind-intensive. Please do not put the temperature sensor next to the heater or under the direct sunlight.

3. In order to prevent magnetic interference, please do not place the sensor next to electrical appliances or other products with magnetic fields.

4. The main unit should be placed within the range of the outdoor sensors. The maximum range is 60 meters when there is no electromagnetic interference nearby. One outdoor sensor will come with the weather station.

5. The outdoor sensors work with batteries which should be replaced regularly.

The main unit didn't show the outdoor data. What should we do?

1. Please check whether the weather station is correctly connected to the outdoor sensor. If it is connect correctly, an icon like WIFI is shown on the LCD color display.

2. Open the back lid of the sensor and press the "TX" button to restart. And please make sure the sensor and the main unit are placed within the connecting range(60 meters).

How can we turn off the switching between 3 channels?

1. You can press the arrow down button on the back of the weather station. This could help to deactivate the automatic searching function.

2. If the automatic searching function was closed successfully, the icon like “↻” will disappear on the screen.
