Answer:	They are very well made and on metal bearings. Just make sure they are anchored well in the yard. They are all metal and will hold up well in the wind. I had my first one up during 80+ winds in Colorado. I had to bring it in after awhile, due to sustained 12 hours of wind and it wiggling out of the ground. I have now bought 5 of them.
Question:	Can it be mounted closer to the ground by shortening the pole
Answer:	There are 3 identical extension poles of about 11 inches each that make up the total height. You can exclude one of them for a corresponding reduction of the height of the wind spinner.

Question:	I just received mine and it doesn't spin? Which way in the breeze does it need to face? Sideways or frontal to the wind! Help
Answer:	If you assembled it properly, which is easy to do so I am sure you did, you don't have to worry about facing into the wind as the 2 spinners rotate 360 degrees on its axis to catch the wind no matter which direction it is blowing & the blades spin in opposite directions causing the spinner to appear as though it is "breathing" in & out. Very dramatic & a very nice addition to a yard. Make sure you anchor it securely in the ground so the wind doesn't blow it over & bend the blades. Hope this helps, Frank

Question:	One of the spinners won’t spin Why
Answer:	I found that the little "arm" that it fastens to is bent at an angle. I reported this to the seller and they said they were going to send replacement parts but after a month, I doubt that is going to happen. I tried working it a bit in my vise but didn't want to totally wreck it, but I may try it again. I would advise NOT TO BUY this, and I should have done the same.. always hopeful though, this time it didn't work out.

Answer:	To make the pole more secure all you have to do take one extension with you to hardware store or Home Depot / Lowes find a piece of copper pipe that the extension will fit inside of and buy the total length that you desire making sure that the copper pipe extends past the last joint by at least 6 inches. In a very short time the patina will match you will have a very secure pole.
Question:	Has anyone had issues getting the light to work
Answer:	I initially set it in a location where it would get maximum sun for the day. As I recall the instructions indicated it might take a couple of days to be fully charged. I didn't check it until 3 or 4 days later and saw it was lighted and changes colors as advertised. Now I have it in a location that gets limited sun during the day but it still lights at night and changes colors. Thus, no, I have had no issues with the lighting

Answer:	Not sure. Maybe 12-14”. I woulD NOT recommend this. It is very cheaply made and looks as cheap as it feels. A total waste of money.

Answer:	I believe that you could remove the middle section of the metal post to make it shorter. The sections of pipe should be inter changible. Good luck. This is one of my wife's favorite spinners it spins with minimal wind and the color combination when it is spinning is very impressive.

Answer:	The 28 inches includes the tail. If you measure from the top of the hook, to the bottom of the gem hanging on the tail, it is about 35 inches.
