Answer:	My guess is that in certain cold temperatures, when plastics are more brittle, that may occur. And over time the plastic may become brittle, also, causing it to break more easily, but I have had two of these for over two years and both are outside in the elements and have not broken at all, even after being stepped on/having weight applied

Answer:	You're correct, it comes with one griddle and one grill plate. However, the two plates make a panini just fine. The top of the panini will have the grill marks, the bottom will be brown all over. To be perfectly honest, I prefer the griddle side best.

Answer:	I’m sure it’s dyed at some point as it’s not naturally this color. As a matter of fact. It’s not natural. Never crossed one of these in any outdoor expedition. It is however the same as a very heavy duty floor mat for your vehicle. I don’t think floor mats stain your automobiles carpets. Mine never have. This tray is the real deal and can be washed, rinsed, left outside, used as a trunk liner, a welcome mat or mat to eat cheeseburgers on. It will do all of this and capture the leavings left behind. I’ve gone through 3 plastic boot trays and this one is tough enough to last a very long time. It’s just as luxurious as any floor and will only transfer smiles and a better quality of living.

Answer:	It is very shallow--perhaps half an inch--but it is deep enough that the snow from three pairs of boots that had been in deep snow did not overflow the tray. Very flexible rubber but no rubbery smell. I have several of these trays and would not be without them for both front and back doors.

Answer:	Husker Fan: 15 X 25 measurement represents the outside dimensions ("overall size"), which are actually 14.1 X 26 (see more specific details of the product below its general description). 13.5 X 24 are the inside dimensions (just measured mine).
