Question:	Is the opening large enough for fruit and nut feed
Answer:	FYI - the opening is 5/8 inch wide so with that info, you'll have to figure out if this meets your needs.
Question:	Will doves be able to land on this
Answer:	As gentle as they seem, doves are not particularly graceful at landing and takeoff. If however you hang the feeder from a pole attached to a typical deck rail, the doves will land on the rail and reach over into the feeder. They also feed on the ground under the feeder, so nothing goes to waste.
Question:	Why is this product as made in usa when it's clearly made in china
Answer:	You should ask the manufacturer that question, not another purchaser. I have no idea if you are correct.

Answer:	Rather than mounting on a pole, I would hang it from a shepherd's hook...much easier!

Question:	is it plastic in the windows
Answer:	It seems to be very hard plastic. We still haven't needed to clean the windows. Our oldest feeder is at least 5 or 6 years old (maybe older) and it has held up beautifully. We tried some other brands a few years ago, and the Absolute II is the best. Neither squirrels nor doves have mastered it. We highly recommend it.
Question:	what diameter pole does it use
Answer:	Yes , pole provided with feeder is one inch in diameter. ( 4 slip joint sections) .
Question:	Could it be mounted on a 4"x4" post
Answer:	Yes. I attached a threaded iron pipe flange (round) that accepted a 1" threaded pipe. I secured the bottom of the flange with four screws to the top of the 4"x4" post. I then attached a threaded 1" pipe stub threaded at both ends. You can get these parts at the local Home Depot. I screwed in one end of my pipe stub into the flange and greased it to prevent rust. I attached the bird feeder mount to the feeder with the attached hardware (pole mount) and simply slid the pole mount onto the top of the pipe stub. The bird feeder mounted sturdily since the pipe stub was 1" and the pole is designed to mount on a 1" pole.

Answer:	Both covers, that is, the large cage cover and the smaller feed tube cover, are metal. I like this feeder - and the wire mesh bottom, instead of a solid bottom tray, means that seeds and hulls do not accumulate.

Answer:	No. Cardinals generally are ground feeders. They sometimes eat from a feeder I have where they can perch, but in all the years I've had the Woodlink feeders I have never seen cardinals eat from them.

Answer:	Well, most of our larger birds here are Stellar Jays, and it works well enough for them that they clean it out entirely within a day! We do have some doves, but they seem to prefer eating off the ground. I have yet to see them even try to use the feeder - any feeder. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Question:	What specific pole mount did you use? The mesh drainage makes it hard
Answer:	I used a piece of aluminum plate 9" x 2 1/2" to span the drainage gap and a 3/4" pipe floor mount to put it on a pole of 3/4" black pipe.

Answer:	The feeder is 12'' long 7'' wide + 10'' tall, I get the pole brackets at an ACE Hardware store in the lawn and garden dept. The bracket is about 14'' long with a hook on the end with a 90` angle with a 4or5'' angle with two screw holes in it to mount it, they aren't hard to mount, I have 5 of them around my house and they get filled once a week, it also attracts all kinds of birds with the suet cages also, good luck and enjoy the birds, I bought my first 2 about 8years ago, I got tired of replacing the wooden and plastic ones, these are recycled heavy plastic and well worth the price!
Question:	Can pigeons eat from this feeder? I don't mind other larger birds like morning doves, but pigeons are too messy and are pooping everywhere
Answer:	I live in a rural farming area, have morning Doves,no pigeons though, but Doves have a small problem of landing to get he food,they can do it but it isn't easy, I bought another style from Amazon, it is a square open unit and is easier for them to get in to feed,both units are made out of recycled plastic and a good investment, the bottom of the ope one has a fine screen in it so water doesn't lay in the feeder

Answer:	The seed ports on this feeder are too large for thistle seed. The wind will blow it out, and the thistle seed will get clumped together in rainy weather. The manufacturer of this feeder also has a version designed for just thistle seed, and that feeder has much tinier holes to dispense the seed. I have both of those Woodlink brand feeders and have been very happy with their appearance, durability, and functionality.

Answer:	the plastic lid slides up the metal hanger. These are great and they last. only thing I added was a tray at the bottom.

Answer:	Any garden center or hardware store with a garden center has "s" hooks in various lengths (6 inches to a foot or so) for hanging plants & bird feeders. They usually run $2 to $6 dollars & work great.

Answer:	Top comes off, rest does not. I use a bottle brush to clean it & that works just fine.
Question:	How many inches wide is the cap and the hanger
Answer:	Top of cap is 3 1/2 inches, underside is 2 1/2 (so is tube) & hanger is just slightly under 3 inches wide. Mine hanged from an “S” shaped hook in a tree. Hope that helps. I really like the feeder and have 3 of them. There are drain holes in the green rim on the bottom & I hook a wire basket with a coconut liner to catch spilled seed.

Answer:	It's approximately 2" deep......not much feed spills over.

Answer:	No it isn't. I use a leaf blower from beneath to blow out hulls. Or . . . the feeder is attached to the pole with a thumb screw, and so it is easy to remove the feeder from the pole to dump it out.
Question:	Is there a height and length size available so I can measure it for the garden
Answer:	The cedar did not last but 3 years. But the plastic after 6 years is going strong. They only have the one size 10" wide 12" high 12" long is perfect it take blue Jays !

Answer:	You unscrew the top ring and that lifts the top cover off. It has a pin that runs down the center that holds everything in place.

Answer:	Yes, the worm tray has little holes for keeping the seeds dry. Sometimes when it rains really hard and blows they get a little damp though. That hasn't stopped especially the bluebirds from eating them.
