Answer:	I have no idea. It is not the least bit flimsy. Thick enough to be sturdy and hold its shape but pliable enough to bend around the and lock together as intended. Mine goes through very harsh conditions -- hot baking sun at high altitude in the summer and below freezing in the winter. Still looks like new and no signs of wear.

Answer:	No, this would be too small. This extension is only for 1" inch diameter poles and most umbrella poles are 1 1/2" inch diameter or larger.

Answer:	I could not get it to lock into the umbrella holes. The poles are too big and it slides down to the bottom so it does not work as an extension seems like it needs something to block the umbrella . The extension goes all the way in the pole

Question:	Is the internal hanger a threaded stud for a threaded hook or drilled for an s-hook
Answer:	I think it will. As long as the post is a 4" X 4" square and the deflector can be installed high enough from the ground to keep them from jumping high enough to land onto the post above it. FYI the deflector will not be stable or immovable. It will be be wobbly which improves the effectiveness -- if a bird or squirrel lands on it, it tips or wobbles and they slide off or get scared off. Mine has held up and is in great shape after several years in hot sun, wild wind storms and freezing temperatures.
Question:	What is the hanging apparatus made of (hook and stem)? Does this ship k.d. (flat), or is it fully assembled as shown when it ships
Answer:	It is cut to fit a "square" 4x4 post perfectly. I don't know if you could alter it to fit a round pole.

Answer:	The inside has an open round loop from which can be hung a birdfeeder with a hook or loop at the top.
Question:	Is the bottom flat? Want to be able to mount it on a flat surface
Answer:	The entire baffle is made of some type of steel. It is shipped just as you see in the illustration: more welded than assembled, but the only thing you have to do is attach the hook on the underside so that you can hang your feeder from it. I was not crazy about this hook, so I replaced it with a generic s-hook from the hardware store. Overall, so far, the shape of this baffle seems ideal, and the fact it is not made out of plastic means it should not crack. The jury is still out on how well the steel will hold up to the elements (will it rust?). Also, it is not entirely squirrel proof. If it was 24" in diameter instead of 18", and if it was made of stainless steel, I think it might be perfect. There does not seem to be a perfect baffle out there, so this may have to do until one materializes.
Question:	Description states this is 11X11 -- that cannot be the height -- could someone please tell me the height of this bird bath? Thank you
Answer:	No, it is not durable in the weather. I have mine hanging under the patio. I wanted it for a pole in the garden, but when it came, I realized it would not last in the weather. I would not purchase again unless I was going to keep it in a sun-room or something like that.

Question:	How much weight does each hook hold? How much weight does the whole thing hold
Answer:	Theses poles will stop squirrels if you spray the pole with WD-40. I did it just a five days ago when I saw a couple squirrels get to the bird feeder in about 2 seconds. I have not see them since. Whenever I walk past the pole, I tough it with my finger to confirm that it is still slick as the day I sprayed it. I don't know how long the first treatment will last, but it is easy enough to spray it when necessary, and I don't care for the look of squirrel collars. Give it a try, because you got nothing to lose by trying it out. Good luck.

Answer:	Don't know exact amount. I've leaned on it pretty heavily and it didn't bend. I think my deck railing will give out before the mount does. Certainly strong enough to a hold hummingbird feeder or birdseed feeder. What do you plan on doing with it, anyway?
