We have 2 parakeets in a pretty good-sized cage, and a single parakeet in a separate cage (that’s a little smaller), and I try to change the lining in both cages once a week. But could probably go longer — these work really well, and I’m happy with them!

Answer:	If you fold over edges, it is an absorbent paper, but there is an edging in plastic, I would not want my budgies to be able to eat. They are great on the bottom, I think it would be worth a try.

Answer:	On the package, it says MEDIUM for Cockatiels and other small to medium birds. From the inside of the hood to the longest end is about 7 inches.One side about 2 3/4in.wide.
