Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

Answer:	The sponge itself lasts for several months but the soapy scented material it’s infused with only lasts maybe 2-3 weeks. I just add liquid soap and continue using it and when it starts looking old, I put it aside, let it dry out and use it when I travel and then just throw it out at the end of the trip. The sponge is very hard when you first use it and it takes several showers to soften it. I do love them though I know some people do not like the scent.

Answer:	don't remember relationship to generic sizing, but size 7 fits most of the women, or small men's. for medium men's try a size 9, or men's large = size 11. we use these for handling parts directly out of an oven at 300-400 deg. f. and the operators love them over more bulky oven gloves. they don't leave a residue on the parts either.
