Question:	Can i use lithium d batteries rechargeable
Answer:	Well, technically yes. However, one can purchase alkaline carbon batteries for far less money, and they last about 8 to 10 hours driving the little motor. The lithium batteries, on the other hand, will cost more than the rotisserie. Your call.
Question:	I love mine but managed to lose the two arms which fo into the ground and hold the spit rod. Can I buy these separately
Answer:	Love mine too. I don’t think you can buy them separately but if you have a metal shop near you they can probably make some up for you.
Question:	What is the farthest distance you can spread the spikes
Answer:	Pam, you can spread the spikes just under the three foot width of the rotisserie bar. You'll need approximately two inches on each end to make room for the motor and the uprights. The motor runs for hours on two d cells and has alot of torque. I must warn you of two things, 1- be careful when packing it up as the on/off button can be nudged and start running the motor. 2- when you are camping and you have a couple of chickens roasting on this rotisserie expect people to come out of nowhere in amazement that you can cook like this out in the woods.

Answer:	No footings, just stick into the ground. I had to drill a couple of logs to hold the stakes in place while using it on a hard surface.

Answer:	Hello, This is a fairly light duty rotisserie spit rod. Although load limits will vary based on length, weight distribution, and balance a 5/16" spit rod will generally carry a load of approximately 15 to 20 pounds absolute maximum. A pig would not be recommended for this spit rod.
Question:	Will this fiit a onlyfire rotisserie motor
Answer:	This rod is a 5/16" square rotisserie spit rod with the same drive size (5/16" square). To determine fitment simply measure any single flat side of the rotisserie motor acceptance slot. Generally speaking Onlyfire does tend to use fairly standard sized rotisserie motors and according spit rods, but as they also source products from what appears to be several different Chinese manufacturers there always exists the potential that a product such as a motor may be slightly different; albeit a very rare likelihood as if the motor has a square drive insertion it is almost always a 5/16" drive regardless of brand. Answer:	Hello, the 45" spit rod is 45" from tip to tip including the 1" threaded portion for the handle. This means you will have 44" of spit rod beyond the handle including the portion that inserts into the motor. Generally speaking a 6" buffer is a good scenario to follow, but you will want to measure your needs specifically. By 6" buffer we mean that often times a 45" spit rod is good for a grill up to 39" in width once motor insertions, bracket offset, handle mounting, etc. are accounted for.
