Answer:	There are other thermometers (look for meat thermometer) manufactured to remain in a roast, turkey,... This particular thermometer was manufactured to take the temperature rapidly, hence "instant".

Answer:	If you mean how long does it take to get a reading... this thermometer is abysmal! Do not buy it, you’ll end up hating to cook or at least regretting the days you’re cooking meat. When you test the internal temp of a roast, a chicken breast, pork expect to wait a good 45+ seconds to get the final reading. Also, you cannot leave this in the oven so your food cools while you wait for a reading. It’s cheap, but you’ll regret even spending the little you did. If you have to sacrifice eating for a couple of days to buy a better thermometer, do it. You’ll take the hit now and not look back. If you purchase this, there’s no doubt you’ll be going to bed hungry multiple times from the utter frustration of having to sit and wait for this obvious gag gift to do it’s one and only job.
Question:	Can the iGrill 2 be used in an oven without damaging the probe wires
Answer:	I do know this I have 3 cooking thermometers in the house. This one, a glass candy thermometer, and then a non glass metal candy thermometer. When I checked the temp of a pork roast I was making when I received this one new they all measured the same. Also when you take this out of the drawer it never on zero. As it's even accounting for the temp in the room. For 100% assurance you would have to contact the manufacture, and ask about their testing standards. But for me I have faith it's pretty accurate according to my standards. And I won't cook meat without a thermometer.

Question:	It appears this replaces the lp/propane monitor on genesis ii lx s-640, so does it also monitor the amount of fuel left in tank
Answer:	I installed the iGrill 3 and the probes work great. I'm unclear how to check the LP level using the app. I did get a notification that the tank needed to be replaced but .. . I was already changing the tank at that point. Is there a calibration process? Also, I would like to be able to see if the tank is 75% or 15% full. Is that possible?

Answer:	It is Bluetooth connected, and that may be why. I just checked my location services and found no entry for iGrill Mini or Weber*.* Not whether it was on or nor but no entry at all. It does show up in my Bluetooth as "not connected" which makes sense, since I am not using it at the moment, but it has been paired and known to Bluetooth in the past. I'm pretty selective as to which apps have location access also. Someone else may have a better answer

Answer:	Hi! The colored probe indicator made of a heat resistant silicone but can melt if caught in a flareup for an extended amount of time. We recommend pushing the indicator down the wire of the probe so that it is sitting outside of the grill but still shows what piece of meat it is monitoring. Thanks!

Answer:	Including the soft case it is 6-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 1-1/2". Unit itself is smaller. It fits into a chef coat pocket (chest) in or out of the case. It will not clip to the pocket, so nothing to hold it in, but the case does have a belt loop (if your chef pants have a belt!)
