Answer:	Nope. It's basically an aluminum bowl with holes in the bottom and in the cover. There isn't much room to convert, unless you intend on using it to, basically, build a gas grill from scratch.

Answer:	If you mean the grate on which to place the coals, you can get a new replacement from MECO for about $20, free shipping. That said, the replacement is not the same design as the original (which admittedly was only good for a a couple high-use grilling seasons because of the thin metal) does not have the 2 layers which allow air to circulate under and get the coals lit evenly and quickly. We are going to try a cheap grilling pan from Walmart ($15) and see if it does the same thing. If you mean the grill, on which you cook the food, the MECO website has replacement parts. The grill is $15.45 plus shipping.
Question:	Do levers move the charcoal or the grilling grate (surface) up and down? I have been looking for the old kind that has the positioning of the coal
Answer:	The charcoal briquettes remain stationary on a factory pan. The grill is adjustable however. I do not understand the desire for an adjustable charcoal bed. The adjustable grill determines the distance between the charcoal briquettes and the grill/food. Please note: factory charcoal bed will burn out within a year of use and is very expensive ($35-$40) to replace. I built my own out of angle iron and heavy-duty mesh grate, an investment of about $20. It has lasted two years and counting.
