While the temperature below the grill usually does not exceed 160 F degrees, we still recommend to not put it on wooden, cloth or plastic surfaces. The Otto Grill is made of 304 stainless steel and can be left outside without developing rust. Answer:	yes it's non stick. I use it all the time and there is no stick for me.

Answer:	Definitely a good question. I had the same question and issue with the GF grill. I bought this HB Grill and it is great. Great searing and cooks like an outdoor regular grill. Marinate or season your steak however you like it and it will come out perfect. Of course, you won’t have the charcoal flavor if that is what you use for your outdoor grill, but the other flavor, texture and searing will be there. (I personally think it comes out juicier on this grill than the regular outdoor grills). I also found that this HB grill made it easier to get the cooking level you want; for steak; I.e. Medium, Medium Well, Well Done etc.
Question:	the removable grill plate has plug in attached. Is it ok to get that wet when cleaning
Answer:	Yes the booklet says it can be washed, the only thing you can't wash is the base it plugs into. However I don't put mine in the dishwasher and when I wash it I don't let it sit in water. Like my old George Foreman I find its easier to clean if I put wet paper towels on the grills surface while its still hot and shut the lid, this steams off a lot of the baked on marinade I use...

Answer:	Possible, but may require some work. This grill is not designed to be an oven -- the door must be open in the down position when in use. This grill is essentially a very hot broiler. As such, it may or may not be possible to bake cookies if they are placed on a lower shelf and they are baked by the heat generated above. The heat on this grill is adjustable and one can use a lower shelf for a lower heat level. However, the gas control does not have temperature numbers, so precise heat is only possible thru trial and error and with a thermometer.

Answer:	The grill grate is 13 x 10. The cast iron griddle is 13.5 x 10, but it has a rim so the usable surface is a bit smaller. Please note that my unit arrived with a defective ignitor. Customer support is non-existent or closed due to Covid. Very disappointing

Answer:	All I can tell you is I have not had to use 4 burners , I will say this the grill keeps an even temp and I have yet to have a flame up. I mostly grill at 350-400 three burners at medium settings dose it for me.

Answer:	I would say no. Cats temperatures need to be taken either rectally or in their ear. This measures the temperature on a surface.

Answer:	The instructions that come with the device specifically states that it doesn't accurately measure through glass. I tested this. and this is true.

I use the same one for bearded dragons, snakes, tortoises, geckos, etc. It just measures the surface temp. Anything between 60 or 65 to up over 120 degrees F, on a plastic, wood, ceramic, glass, concrete, etc. It works great and is much more accurate than those useless stick on ones.

However, if you are presently experiencing any kind of flareups from juices dripping onto the hot surfaces, the Grill Grates have eliminated that kind of thing for me in my gas grill.
