I'd trust it for ice-cream (or things that must stay truly fully frozen) for probably 2 hours. Took this (with ten small freezer packs) on road trip in hot weather. It kept groceries and snacks cool enough not to spoil if left in a warm car all day, but under those conditions it didn't keep anything cold. Definitely helpful (folds flat, preserves food reasonably well), but it's not like an actual cooler. Also keeps food hot/warm.

I have the pump in a large bucket that about 18 inches high so so the pump evacuates the bucket when it is roughly 60% full, an operation that it performs splendidly and with considerable force. Question:	Can I use wood or is this charcoal only
Answer:	I burn Sugar Maple in mine, the only problem is that is DOES NOT burn long with wood or charcoal before the ash which is very small fills up and blokes air flow to fire. I built a removable ash pan for mine that hold ash from an eight hour burn/cook (pork sholder). I've have fire hot enough to pegged out the thermometer without effecting the paint.

Answer:	I line mine with aluminum foil and pick up the foil. Sometimes, when it gets bad, I lay it on its side and spray it down with a hose. Either way charcoal removes pretty quickly.

Answer:	We have only had the bag for a short time but so far so good. The bag is large and will hold a large 3 ring notebook easily.

Answer:	It will run around the clock if you want. We have ours on a timer as it runs a fountain.
Question:	is the crossover tube 7-7/16 overall? or is just the square tube
Answer:	I do not believe so, but you should be able to either: 1) cut the hose & use a clamp to secure the hose to the pump inlet, or clamp a reducer to the cut hose and then clamp to the pump. 2) or go to Home Depot or similar store or and purchase the size clear vinyl hose which you can cut to length from a large roll. You can then clamp this hose to the pump inlet.
