Answer:	Of course you can separate the pot from the base. Just make sure you remove the plug first and then kind of slide it out at an angle. When putting it back on, make certain you hear the snapping click to ensure that it is truly stable before cooking in it again.

Answer:	You may run into some trouble. - First of all, not all airplanes come with a 110 volt socket. Some have the 12 V "cigarette lighter" that you will find in cars, so you'll have to bring an inverter. - The second problem is the splatter. I got the stink eye from the person in the aisle row because my bacon splattered on him. Jerk. - Also, the flight attendants got mad when I started selling my hot Oregon Style Fried Chicken drumsticks up the aisle. Turns out that the "Friendly Skies" don't like competition. Beyond those instances it has turned out great.

Question:	What does 18/10 mean
Answer:	The wattage rating is 1500 W.
Question:	What happens if water gets into the vents on the bottom
Answer:	I like the Presto 1500 Watt Wok, model 5900, available on Amazon. Its a 14" diameter stainless steel wok, so you don't have to deal with the delicate non-stick coating. Can use metal implements and clean up is not much harder then "non-stick" ie. best to put water in after using, let it sit for a few minutes on med. heat before washing. Can use a microfiber pad or any other scrubber for stubborn stains (rare). Also you don't need to wash every time....just heat up water in the wok to boiling and then rinse a couple times......heat kills germs! It might not look bright and shiny but its just as safe as a full cleaning.
Question:	What does "impact bonded" mean
Answer:	The coating is like Teflon. I only used this twice however because the electric control is very loose where it fits into the wok plus the temperature control is erratic and difficult to set. In the "OFF" position mine was still "ON" and hot.

Answer:	I don't submerge on purpose but I'm sure water gets in ...but let it dry out and I have not had any problem with this pan in fact it it better than any coated fry pan... great purchase..when somthing sticks...put a 1/2 of water in it and turn up to 150 derees for a few minutes..let cool a little and it cleans great..if you don't want any marks in the pan at all...get a container of the cleaner that is used on a glass cooking surface, put a little on when cool and with a slight rub..it looks like new...this is a great purchase ..wish the temp knob showed more values

Answer:	Hi Judy - Yes this does have a beeper. When the rice is done it beeps on and off for about 5-6 seconds and automatically switches to keep warm. Once you're done you can press the power button and it toggles off so no need to unplug.
Question:	Can I make cheese or chocolate fondue in the hot pot side
Answer:	You do not want the lid to be removable because that would require an extra (third) hand for operating the devise; and a clean and safe place to set down a removed lid. It is sufficient for the pot alone (and steamer tray) to be removable.
Question:	Can the grill and pot be separated from the base for cleaning
Answer:	I have the 8-cup one and the brown rice setting cooks quinoa perfectly! You have to soak it first (minimum 6 hours) but it comes out fully cooked, light and fluffy! I just purchased the larger 20-cup cooker (the 8-cup doesn't hold enough veggies for me) and am sure the brown rice setting on the larger cooker will make quinoa perfectly as well.

Answer:	Hi Kara. I haven't tried making fondue using this hot pot, however, it's non-stick properties and low heat setting could make it possible. It could definitely yield a large batch of fondue; half of the pot holds 32oz easily (remember that there is a divider in the center of the pot). It's nice that each side can hold a different kind of dip in case you want to serve two different types at the same time. Answer:	Thank you so much for your inquiry, the highest temperature is 185 degrees Celsius, and it can grill many ingredients include bone steaks.

Answer:	The way I cleaned it was to disconnect all the power cords and then I sponged/cleaned off the top as I would a normal pan. I rinsed the top part off and just dried it with a paper towel. As long as it isn't fully submerged in water there should be no issue.
