Answer:	You want to burn excess chemicals before cooking on the surface for the first time. You always season a metal if you’re going to ingest edibles that were cooked on it. I season my grill every time before every bbq. Don’t take my word do the research.

Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "adjusted". If you're talking about an ability to adjust it for the thickness of food you're cooking, no, there isn't. If your food is soft or fragile, expect to wind up with a pancake. If your food is tougher, like a steak, then you shouldn't have a problem. The lid has three "stopping points": closed, open, and "open flat", where you can use the lid as another half of a griddle. Also be aware that there is only one style of plate for the lid: the flat "griddle" plate. It does not have a corresponding "grill" plate. (The plate is, however, still removable for cleaning.)
Question:	Where can I find a replacement drip tray
Answer:	You will have to contact Hamilton Beach. Mine cracked and leaked bacon grease everywhere.

Answer:	I'm not sure. It's got its own cloth container that would probably be strong enough to hold that size dog, but you'd probably need some kind of booster so the pup could get its head out. The included receptacle rests on the arms, opening and closing when you open and close the rollator, so your basket would have to be able to do that and it would have to be a perfect fit when it's open, in my opinion. I think the rollator is strong enough, but I'm not sure it would work. I wouldn't trust the seat back to hold a pet. Just an opinion, though; I don't really know.

Answer:	The grill side takes a few minutes to get hot, even in high. But once it's hot it cooks fairly quickly. A stock pot cover to cover the food helps cook faster.

Answer:	I contacted Royal gourmet to get extra cooking grates, 2 more flametamers, and an extra wind deflector. Here is the response. Dear Valued Customer, We apologize for inconvenience but we do not sell parts rather than replace them under 1 year warranty. However, flame tamers and cooking grates are not brand specific and can be found on Amazon or at any hardware store by measurements. Please give more details if a wind deflector is damages and provide pictures, if possible. Also, please provide your order number. So the answer is No without going to universal replacement parts by another manufacturer.

Answer:	Open the valve for the propane tank very slowly. I kept having this issue as well. Safety feature for the propane tank.
Question:	Is the top pre-seasoned? I'm trying to figure out why the price difference between the blackstone and Camp Chef
Answer:	It comes with a coating. Don't know if it is preseasoned but food does not stick. I bought 2 of them. Last weekend cooked 5 lbs hamburger, 1 lb bacon, 3 steaks, 8 fried eggs. Nothing stuck, everything was perfect and I highly recommend the Blackstone.
Question:	When i use my grill sometimes i'll turn off the burners then back on. sometimes they turn on very low. anyone else
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Our griddles have a safety feature with the regulators. If the propane was not turned off completely or in the exact steps, the regulator will prevent much gas flow from going through the regulator the next time. I have noticed that our recent batch of regulators are more sensitive than they have been in the past. You might try turning removing the propane tank and then reattaching it. This should reset the regulator from the above mentioned safety feature. Also, there are air gates at the front of each burner that can be adjusted to your preference. They control the air to gas ratio. There is a small silver screw at the front of the burner tube that you can loosen and then you can slide the gate more open or closed depending on your preference. We typically have the air gates half closed or even 3/4 of the way closed. I hope this helps. Answer:	the legs do fold, but this is not a unit that is ment to haul around... very very very very heavy... this is a big unit.... heavy....... do not buy this to go camping.... did I mention that it is heavy... wonderful grill but ment to buy, set up and cover it it at your home.....

Be careful and do not get any sealant inside the orifice • Install new orifices with the same thread pitch as the removed orifices • Orifices for main tubes are marked 2.0 and for side, burners are marked 1.39 • Reinstall burner tubes, side burners, and the small nut underneath • Remove the propane hose and connect the natural gas hose • Happy griddling!
