Answer:	I have no idea. I personally would not use this for an indoor appliance. This was for my outdoor fireplace that I converted to propane.

Answer:	This one looks newer than the one I got, mine does not have a drain. It is a cast aluminum pot, and getting the oil out is a pain, and a mess. Get a big funnel, and have someone help you when you pour the oil back in its container.

Answer:	Mine stopped working so I had to either replace that entire gas valve system or remove battery and use a clamp to hold the valve down (open).

Answer:	I don’t see why not. The only concern I might have would be keeping the heat low enough to prevent burning the chili. Get a long wooden spoon that will comfortably reach the bottom of the pot and keep it stirred.

Answer:	I would not recommend bypassing the safety feature. I will agree with your opinion on this unit.....it is horrible. The seal around the spigot malfunctioned and all the oil ran out. Given what I have encountered with this unit, I would have looked for another that was more dependable and safer. I purchased an indoor turkey fryer and we will use it for the first time for part of our Thanksgiving meal.

Answer:	Since it runs on propane, I would not run it in an unvented enclosed space. I haven't used it below 40 yet. I hope in an open garage it can be used in low temps. I suspect it can be.

Answer:	I would say it probably uses about an eighth of a tank. I made a 13 pound turkey. It took an hour and a half. It works well in cold weather. It was around 38 - 40 degrees when I cooked the turkey. I decided to put the lid on for the last 30 minutes toenhanced the browning.

Answer:	I haven't had mine out for a few months but I do know that when I got it I was very pleased with the quality. The accessories were all good and just what you would need to cook anything you want. I did buy an additional thermometor because I wasn't sure if it came with one but it does. A pretty complete package in my opinion. If your buying a burner to go with it I would suggest you get one that sits lower to the ground.

Answer:	10-12 minutes per pound but there is no preheating time required. Having done deep fried and using the Big Easy, Total time is about the same.

Answer:	This will be a great grill for you,.. I suggest you review the manual on how it sets up. If you are cooking for more than 4 I suggest buying another insert for the grill rack, again, do some online research. The meat will remain moist! I bought mine to use as a smoker but not as impressed with that function as I cannot get the temp to stay down to 210-225.
Question:	what size propane tank do you use
Answer:	Hi, I don't know the size of the propane tank but it is the standard size that you get from Blue Rhino, you give an empty and get a full one for approx. $20.00. Also, do yourself a favor and never use a bristle grill brush. I took a bristle out of my mouth while eating a hamburger, then I closely inspected the grill and saw many trapped on the lower grate supports. Charbroil makes a red nylon one they recommend. Google grill brush bristle injuries, you won't believe it. I had no idea. I am trying to tell everyone I can.
Question:	Someone above wrote the temp goes from 325-450, is that true you cannot bring it down to 205 for slow smoking
Answer:	Use the water pan as mentioned in other replies, but more importantly, use at least one good probe thermometer. The lowest I've had mine down to for smoking was 215, and it took a lot of work to get there. I added a true fire brick to the bottom of the basket as a heat sink as well as the water pan, and cracked to lid about an inch. ( shouldn't have to do that according to the owners forum). Also, this was in Feb. in PacNW, on a covered and sheltered deck. So , that all helped. As for grilling and roasting, remember that the owners manual tells you to run with the lid open. Again, a quality probe thermometer comes in handy here. Bottom line, don't be afraid to experiment. The 3 in 1 big easy is a great choice for most casual and occasional users.

Answer:	I have used it while it was sprinkling outside and put the cover on, but I would say if it is raining hard put it under some cover like the garage with door open. Remember to empty the drip tray if left out in the rain also. I forgot to do that last time it rained and when I used it the drip try was full of water which begin to overflow when grease and drippings went into it. Yuck!!
