Answer:	The Q3200 comes with a stand - it is not detachable. The Q1200 and Q2200 are both "portable" & you can buy a folding stand if you want (additional purchase for Q1200 & Q2200).
Question:	Does the grill detach from the cart? Wondering if I could take just the grill camping and hook it up to a small propane canister
Answer:	The Q3200 does not detach for portability. You should consider the Q1000 or Q2000 Series for camping. Those are both "portable" & you can buy a folding stand if you want (additional purchase for Q1000 & Q2000).
Question:	Does the 3200 sear steaks as well as the Summit series
Answer:	While I think it is a little unfair to compare a $1500 grill to a $400 grill. I own both, I find the Q gets up to temp faster while the Summit will ultimately achieve higher overall temperature if you are prepared to wait. I prefer the cast iron grilling grates on the Q to the summit's stainless rods although you may eventually have to replace the cast iron grates where as the stainless will probably out live you and your children. These two grills are really apples and oranges, the Summit is a massively impressive grill that achieves amazing grilling results. As it should being Weber's top of the line grill range, the Q however is very unassuming and people don't expect it to perform as well as it does. Every time I have company and cook on the Q they are blown away by its searing power and want to know every thing about it. That makes it a real winner.

Answer:	I used the smaller Smokey Joe as a fire pit. It works but since they are designed to burn quickly down to coals, it seemed the wood went pretty fast. We were using pretty dry loose juniper wood though so it may perform better with a different wood.

Answer:	Yes you can. I found one on Weber. Com. Select charcoal then find your go anywhere grill then click accessories. It should pull up charcoal grate, cooking grate, and replacement handles. If the site has changed call Weber direct and order it. I have a Genesis platinum II that is 13 years old and never a problem with parts support.
Question:	How much weight will it hold? Could I use a 7-10 Lb cast iron dutch oven on it
Answer:	Yes it holds it fine. Just make th legs are clipped together. I use my cast iron pan for blackened catfish. Really gets the pan hot since it is so close to Coals. Great for searing steaks for the same reason. Like it dates and yakitori so I don’t have to use my big grills.

Answer:	I have the charcoal only model, but there is a model (Go-Anywhere Portable Propane Gas Grill Model # 1141001) that uses a small propane tank.

As of November, 2018, Weber uses a “dual source” approach to the manufacture of Weber’s Genesis II series gas grills. Some of the Genesis II grills are manufactured at our plant in Palatine, Illinois using globally sourced component parts. Some of our Genesis II grills are manufactured in China. The quality of the Genesis II grills are identical, no matter where they are sourced from, and the warranty you receive with a Genesis II grill is also identical. Answer:	About the same. Weber has double stainless skin cover. Unlike cheap grills. The insulation is provided by the air gap between the two metal skins.

Answer:	Hello, we're sorry to learn about your disappointment with our porcelain enameled cast iron (PECI) grates. We offer multiple models of grills, with some including the PECI grates, and others including stainless steel grates. PECI grates are preferred by some customers for their superior heat retaining properties, which make them exceptional at searing foods. Stainless steel cooking grates are preferred by others for their potential longevity. We do not market the Genesis II E-315 model as a 'stainless steel grill', as the 'E' in E-315 stand for enameled, with the lid, and cooking grates both being porcelain enameled. The Genesis II S-310, Genesis II E-335, and Genesis II S-435 all include a stainless steel lid, stainless steel doors, and stainless steel cooking grates. We do make stainless steel grates for this Genesis II E-315, and they are part # 66802. Thanks!

Some of the Genesis II grills are manufactured at our plant in Palatine, Illinois using globally sourced component parts. Some of our Genesis II grills are manufactured in China. The quality of the Genesis II grills are identical, no matter where they are sourced from, and the warranty you receive with a Genesis II grill is also identical, being 10 years on all components. Grease Management System

Question:	How would this grill be for a family of two with occasional parties of 6-8? Can you cook a good amount on it
Answer:	We are a family of two. However, when our kids and grandkids come for a visit, we turn into 8. A few weeks ago when they were all there, we cooked hamburgers. I believe I cooked 12 meat patties at one time. The primary cooking grill was used. The top narrow grill surface was not used that day. I believe it worked great for our group. I will not hesitate to plan outside cooking for groups of that size ... even up to 10-12 people.

Question:	Can this be used to smoke or would it use too much propane? Also, do you need lava rocks? I have only used charcol in the past. Thanks
Answer:	You can definitely slow cook with this, and add a smoke box with wood chips to flavor the meat more. If doesn't require rocks as it has metal flavorizer bars that the cooking meat will drip on and then transfer the grilled flavor to the finished product. I think you could get several hours from a tankful of propane. Have done this with my old gas grill before. I suggest using one burner and placing the meat on one side or the other or in the middle for.this grill and try keeping the temp to around 225 degrees F
