If you’re doing a roast or a whole chicken or a small turkey, yeah, you may want a thermometer. But for steaks and chicken breasts, use the finger test. It’s easy to learn, and once you do, you’ll cook things perfectly every time.

Answer:	Yes, but it depends on the previous contents of the bag. Bags that previously contained fruits, vegetables, breads and dry goods can be washed and reused. Bags that contained raw meats, fish, eggs or un-pasteurized cheese should be discarded after use because they may contain invisible bacteria that will remain after washing. Bags that contained greasy or oily foods should also be discarded, as they may be difficult to clean. FoodSaver Bags can be washed by hand. Dry them completely. They can then be re-vacuumed.

Answer:	well the gasket is 15 feet long or 180 inches, need to measure the circumference of your grill lid and base to see if that is enough length to cover

Answer:	Not very well . Kamado is 4 leg, clip strap to wrap 2 opposite legs keeps this cover on in the wind. Roccbox is 3 legs, 120 degrees apart instead of 90 (180 to opposite legs).
Question:	How long does it take to heat up to 500 degrees to grill a steak? How much charcoal does it take
Answer:	I would suggest letting the grill cool down to a temp that is around 150ish external temp. That may be the temp it reaches on its own sitting on direct sunlight. If the grill is still showing over 150f I wouldn't attempt it just to be safe. A few extra minute of waiting is worth not having to replaced a burnt cover.

Answer:	Yes. It is designed to easily lift on and off. The shelf locks it onto the stand. Slide the shelf over, then the grill simply lifts right off.
