Not Thirty-one Hundred & Fifty watts — or — 3*250 = 750 but ≠ 3,250 watts) Common mistake; The U.S.A is about the only country that uses the period "." to separate decimals. Pretty much everybody else uses a comma "," and therefore, nobody in the rest of the world knows what the hell we're trying to say..

Answer:	Yes, The BMS will "cut off" (like a relay) the battery if the current is too high (in or out). The only problem is the charger cannot live without a battery - the battery regulates the working voltage. When it cuts out - the high voltage, from solar panel or generator, will burn the charge controller. The battery is 13 Volts and the generator is 18-20 volts. Although, you may be alright - the charge controller is only 20 Amp, the BMS can handle 100 Amps.

Answer:	The cable has to be at least the maximum rated current of the battery. Say, the battery is rated 100 ah, the cable should be rated more than 1c, that is 100A for continuous use and 2c for surge current.
