Question:	Can you use the pull start because it looks like the metal panel is in the way according to the picture
Answer:	The design is not optimal. The panel is in the way to pull the cord straight out. You pull it at a 90 degree angle, outward toward the handles. Mine starts pretty easily, usually one pull and it's not a hard pull. The cord housing is rounded, so the cord won't fray when pulled at 90 degrees.
Question:	What is the noise level
Answer:	To me, the noise seems low/reasonable. It has a large automotive style muffler (not a small lawn mower type). The generator mechanism itself also makes some noise, but not too loud. Actually, i thought this cheaper generator would be louder so I'm very pleased with the noise level. In fact, everything about this generator works well and seems to be high quality especially for the low price. I've not needed it for an actual outage yet, but I've run several tests through my transfer panel with various load levels for 15-20 mins at a time with perfect operation.
Question:	What type of gas should be used? Or does it even matter
Answer:	Alcohol free if possible. If not add a little Ethynol remover to the gas. Also if this has a fuel shutoff valve you should close the valve and let the engine use all the gas in the carburetor so it won't get all gummed up from the alcohol in the gas. I have a 6500 watt I have been using regularly since 2005 and keep it running great this way.
Question:	Can someone confirm if this (gas only) unit has an automatic choke? I'm seeing no reference to a choke lever/switch on pics or video
Answer:	Yes it’s a choke lever it’s hard to see , but it has sticker pointing it out , This generator is a beast had mine for 5 yrs just used it for first time 8/11/20 had gas in it & everything started up & ran like a champ , had 2 full size fridges , sump pump , injection pump & 65 gallon fish plugged up didn’t budge 👍🏾

Answer:	hello I have a 3500 w strictly propane and used it during Sandy I poweredy whole house by rigging the board .I actually powered the boiler circulating pump for heat 2 refriges and a freezer besides some lights.I had to juggle appliances once in awile but it ran great .I went through a 100 # propane cylinder it took 2/ 12 hour days and one 8hr day running all those appliances.No prob.We actually ran tje washer once during that week cause some people stayed with us

Answer:	Having used quite a few propane heaters,generators,and torches(large ones) I can safely say the best way to stop the frost is to reduce the pressure on the tank. The easiest, simplest safest way to do that is to get a higher volume tank. If a 20lb tank is frosting badly you are drawing it to quickly,try a 40lb or better even a 100lb tank. Your frosting problem will go away.

Question:	start a 13500 btu AC
Answer:	We have a 13,500 BTU A/C in out 2004 Mountaineer and this generator starts and runs it with no problems. We leave the generator in "economy" mode all the time and it naturally revs up when the A/C starts up, but has never failed to do its job. Also, we run it only on propane... it's never had a drop of gasoline in it.
Question:	Looks like it would weigh more with the battery and starter. Not much heavier than the 75531i

Question:	How to connect to 500 gal tank
Answer:	mine is connected to our 500 gal tank but it took some work going back & forth between the tech at champion (have to get the right one) and my propane company. i had propane company put a quick disconnect valve at the house, where the propane goes into the house on the low side of the step down valve, then i had them make me a 20' hose that connects to the diaphragm / hose that champion provides minus their regulator. There is a limit on how long the new hose can be as the pressure will drop with distance and you do need a minimum about of gas pressure for it to work. (see other answer from Champion here). Triple check w/ both Champion & your propane company. Also when you turn it on to run, the gen will have to pull out the air in the hose, takes several short cranks on the gen and if it's cold out you may end up having to pull the cord - takes some practice w/ the choke. Once the propane is flowing it's easier to restart if you don't disconnect the hose from either end. I used it this way for 22 hrs recently and it worked like a charm. Don't forget to check the oil regularly. The diaphragm must be exposed to ambient air pressure but also must stay dry.
Question:	Does this come with the lp hose? And what connection is it

Answer:	I have both, the 56200i is heaver and slightly larger, it also has a fuel gauge. The 56203i is noticeably quieter and puts out slightly more wattage. You won't be disappointed with either of them.

Answer:	definately restricted by the particular wiring in your home to that outlet 15 or 20 amp MAX. Unless your an electircian and know what, when , how, and why, you should not even be thinking about doing this ,and if your were, you would already know what your limits are and if you can do it. SO NO, dont do it!!!

Answer:	It cannot run your entire house. We typically run a full-size freezer, refrigerator, several lights, and our internet router. I have run this generator for up to 48 hours, but most of our outages are in the 8-12 hour duration. I run this unit 2-3 times per year. I run drop cords from the unit to my critical stuff. It starts easily, and runs 8+ hours on a tank of gas under our load. When the power goes out, it takes me about 10 minutes to roll it out, start it, and get everything plugged in. It has never let me down, would definitely purchase again.

Answer:	axel length is 19 inches long,wheel base is 8 inches wide.
Question:	Ran gen and turned off petcock till unit died. Why is gas still getting into carb/air cleaner assembly
Answer:	It seems that if you overfill the fuel tank, the gas makes it's way into the vent and and then drains thru the hose back into the air cleaner assembly. Not the greatest design, but I drained some fuel from the tank and now the problem is solved.. Thanks for you input anyhow.

Answer:	Yes - as long as the wattage doesn't exceed the rated capacity. We've used ours to run two refrigerators, two fans and our water well without any issues.
Question:	Can somone explain the difference between surge watts and running watts
Answer:	Think of the running watts as the generator stabilizing its power output & staying level. When you plug another item into it that means it has to do more or output more power for a few seconds it amps up to compensate for the new item plugged in. A quick surge in watts happens & eventually levels out back to the running watts. If it happens to go over the max surge watts too far it'll shut off.

Answer:	Here is the secret. I'll phrase it as what I did, so no one sues me. I had a laundry room with electric dryer by the window. I married a dryer connector to a receptacle for my generator's 240VAC connection. If you are not electrically inclined and/or cannot follow technical instructions (if your degree is in the Humanities I'm talking to you), have an electrician do it. Then I turned off my main breaker to isolate the house, and plugged the generator into the dryer outlet. the 30amp fuse on that outlet now controlled max power to the house. We made sure to not run the furnace, microwave, coffee maker when we turned on the water heater for showers. This worked pretty good.
Question:	Will this generator run my RV
Answer:	Takes about 20 oz or 2/3rds qt of oil. Use funnel provided and you will be glad you did. Still easy to overfill and drp on ground so fill in a place that you can clean up. I also put the date on the oil bottle and keep it wth my genny parts...amazing how time passes. Also used synthetic oil with a low viscosity for cold weather. Good luck!

Answer:	These generators will put out the standard THD rating of 15% or less unless otherwise noted. They will produce a sine wave, not a modified or square wave. This is perfectly acceptable for running common commodities found in your home such as TVs, computers, your appliances, etc. THD is a measure of the deviation of a sine wave from a "perfect" sine wave. All electricity, including line electricity, has measurable THD. If you have a specific item that requires less than 5% THD such as a UPS style battery back up, a pellet stove or high efficiency furnace control board, we recommend the use of a line conditioner for these items. This machine is designed to run on gasoline only. We cannot recommend or encourage the modification of the generator in this fashion as it will void your emissions warranty. We have been advised by environmental agencies that unless we have certified the emissions after conversion with them, we can no longer make the recommendation. The conversion company will have this responsibility. We are very sorry as we understand how common of a request this is. Unfortunately, ever changing environmental restrictions are being placed on manufacturers and our hands are tied.

Answer:	Fuel must meet these requirements. Clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline A minimum of 87 octane/87 AKI (91 RON). Gasoline with no more than 10% ethanol is acceptable. Do not use unapproved gasolines, such as E85. Do not mix oil in gasoline or modify the engine to run on alternate fuels. This will damage the engine components and void the warranty, To protect the fuel system from gum formation, mix a fuel stabilizer into the fuel. Please refer to your owners manual for further instructions.

Answer:	I don't know of anyone converting, but would be interested in any response from someone who has. My home standby generator, Generac, is propane and I love it.

Answer:	no, it has a pull start but it pulls very easy. Never had to pull more than twice. Electric starter is just one more thing to go wrong on a generator
Question:	Why won't it ship to California
Answer:	The Westinghouse product I am interested in will not ship to CA. What makes this odd is this exact unit is sold online and in stores here in CA. If it were in stock I would gladly buy locally. Maybe these situations will slowly bring Amazon to its long overdue knees.
