Answer:	I used it on those HORRIBLE thistle weeds that were growing between small pine trees. I was careful, the nozzle is adjustable for narrow stream. It definitely killed them and trees were fine. Make sure ground isn't real wet so that the other plants don't soak it up. If thistles are close to a plant take a piece of cardboard and put a barrier and then hit the thistles. I hope this helps!

Answer:	I also live in central Kentucky. Not so important for weed control but it is important for grass seed. Go with northern to be safe.
