Answer:	I believe that the Preen description states that it is effective for 6 months. I take that to mean that it is still partially effective for a period of time after that 6months. Therefore, I would wait several months longer before planting seeds. As a sheer guess, at about 9 months some seeds may not germinate so your yield of plants from seeds might be less than optimum but better than zero, and after 12 months, the effects should be gone. But then by that time, there will likely be some fresh weed seeds blown in from elsewhere. Bulbs don't really germinate like seeds so Preen may not effect them but this I really don't know.

Question:	Is this made of polypropylene
Answer:	this is not a plastic. It is a heavy duty mesh like fiber. I'm not sure if it has polypropylene in it but it works very well. Hopefully this helps.
Question:	Will it let roots from plants above it to go through
Answer:	I was disappointed with the product. It does not block weeds from coming up so, I would assume plants from above would go through.
Question:	Does this fray when cut
Answer:	It would fray if a cut was left exposed. But once the material is secured and covered, I've never had problems with it. We used to use a propane torch to burn holes in it for plants (thus sealing the edges), but don't bother with that anymore. Cutting holes for our plants works just fine.

Answer:	Ok there are two rates on the label. One is 6 ounces per gallon for spot treatments and the other is confusing and is more for spraying large areas. It says to use 7.4 ounces in 1 to 10 gallons of water and to spray that over 1000 square feet. Basically what that means is use whatever water between 1-10 gallons that it takes you to cover 1000 square feet at the pace you are working and the rate your sprayer is putting out spray.
