How long would it take for crabgrass to die after using this product

Answer:

First, it is impossible to say with some precision how long it will take for the crabgrass to die. The product label on the Spectracide states that there is "visible results in 8 hours". The product label really can't be more specific than that. It depends on whether it rains right after you spray, the type of weed, the time of day, how dry the soil is, how deep the root is, etc., etc., etc. I've seen visible results in 8 hours. However, the plant is not totally dead by then. It will take some more time--perhaps 2 to 3 more days. Keep an eye on it. Spray it a "bit" more if needed. Also, keep in mind that crabgrass sprout seeds pretty quickly. If you see some seeds on the plant, go ahead and pull the stem with the seeds. Should make your job easier in the future.

Answer:	Kelp (and all seaweed) contains iodine, and naturally occurring arsenic. Too much iodine causes thyroid disease. We all know what too much arsenic causes. The question is: how much is safe? See if the package says anything about iodine or arsenic.
